The Gifteds of Forsvar

“Because I apparently know something you don’t know Numbers.” he says calmly looking back to the guard he referred to as Numbers.
“Go ahead and try to kill me if you’d like, but you may cause the fall of Forsvar by doing so now.” he says evenly.
“Believe it or not, I’m here to ‘help’ you.” he replies then looks to Joan.
“You never answered my question.”

Surem walks by and notices the commotion of the guards and the thief, then decides to wait and watch by leaning on a building just across the street.

Joan looked when she saw the Gifted watching them., "It's not safe on this street at the moment, but we will be finished dealing with it shortly." She said to the boy. "Move along"

"Don't worry, I'll be fine.", said Surem with a confident, yet sneaky smirk.

The Theif doesn’t bother looking back to Surem.
“How am I unsafe?” he asks then tilts his head.

"I said move along" Joan repeated in a dangerous voice.

"Well for one thing you insist upon hiding your face,"

"I never said you were unsafe"He says to the theif, then turns to the guard "and if I wouldn't just happily move along?"

The Thief tilts his head again.
“Hide my-?” he begins to ask in a questioned tone.
“Is that not what the guard does everyday?” he asks after a pause.

Joan glared at the Theif. "We protect the city from danger, we hide our faces to protect outrselves from certain gifts,"

Then he looks to the side, at a window of a store.
“I wear my mask for the same reason.” he says in an uninterested voice.
Then turning back to Joan he adds,
“I’ve only come here to deliver a message.”

Surem looks up, waiting for the message to be said. He knew not why he cared but his intuition told him to listen.

"You could have done so to the guards at the gates. Then you wuld not be precieved as a threat. Breaking a window to attract our attention also didn't help your cause." Joan replied icily.

[Sparrow]

He moves his hand to symbolize mindless chatter to mock Joan.
“Look, I came here to see if you even needed the information.” he says in the same uninterested tone.
“Now I see that if you can’t even find a common thief with out them breaking a window I know you need this info.” he says in a mildly sharp tone.
He calms down a bit before going on,
“A new branch of the government has been formed in the past week. This branch is going by the name, ‘The Organization’.”
He uses air quotes.
“The Agents of this new branch are planning a raid on this city sometime in the future.”
“Now before you get all, ‘We can handle it’ , you should know about the new technology they plan to use. They have discovered how to gain temporary giftes.”

"The Governments been using pupet gifteds in their work for years. We know how they work. If they can mass produce gifteds it will just be more of the same," Joan was getting fed up with this man.

Surems knew that this was serious, and decided to do questioning himself. "So thief--since I have no other name for you--Here's another good one. Where'd you come from and why warn us?
