Lost Island and Human Testing

[Gifted]

"Emily who?" she asked, as if curiously.

[Raven]

"Mm... I think her last name was Webber?" Tabitha said.

[Gifted]

"Web? Oh I know her, let me grab her for you," she said, running into Emily's room. You don't want to be found then hide under the bed, Pride mouthed quickly

[Raven]

Emily was frozen for a moment, then did as instructed.

[Gifted]

Pride slid the window open quietly, and then called in a worried voice. "Emily? Emily! Where are you? Emily!" she threw the closet door open and ran to the bed, picking up the sheet corner just a tiny bit, not enough for emily to be seen, but enough for it to visibly drop when she let it fall when Tabitha came in, so it would look like she'd already checked there.

[Raven]

Tabitha raised her eyebrows. "Where is she?" she asked, almost dropping her false identity. She recovered it by saying, "I hope she doesn't get hurt."

[Gifted]

Pride had dropped the bedsheet when Tabitha came in. "I don't know, I've looked in the usual places people hide... I don't think she's in here," Notice the open window dammit, it's not the first time a patients tried to escap via jumping out the window,

[Raven]

Tabitha crossed thoughtfully to the window, peering out. "It doesn't look like she's out here, either." She was fighting anger. The new one had gotten away? That brat couldn't have even known it was a bad thing to be here if Pride hadn't told her. Her left hand balled into a fist.
Under the bed, Emily's breathing was fast, she was amazed Organized Crime couldn't hear her heartbeat.

"I saw that kid Hannah sneaking around this morning, maybe she has something to do with it?"
Hannah was a big muscly girl who Tony'd taken yesterday night, she actually hadn't been back yet. Since she'd mostly been just injected with crap and sent back up since she'd been here, Pride was pretty sure Tony's expiriments killed her.

((It was Hannah's papers Tony handed in. ))

[Raven]

"Maybe... Oh, I hope they don't punish Emily too badly for trying to escape... She seemed like such a sweet girl," Tabitha cooed. She hadn't heard about Hannah's death yet.

[Gifted]

"Yes I agree... mybe we should check Hannah's room? Just in case?"

[Raven]

"Are you sure you looked everywhere in here?" Tabitha asked her, crouching next to the bed. She was mostly looking for a reaction.

[Gifted]

"I think so..." Pride said, keeping her voice calm.

[Raven]

"Perhaps we should check one more time...?" Tabitha suggested, lifting the edge of the blanket. Emily was certain they must be able to hear her heartbeat, even if they couldn't hear as well as she could.

[Gifted]

"Um, I guess so, but I'm pretty sure I checked everywhere. Unless she's in the closet, which is doubtful. Only the ridiculously small can fit inside the closets here," Pride's mind was racing, she couldn't let Tabitha find Emily!
