Lost Island and Human Testing

Pride rushed into Mary's room and saw Tony on the floor very close to death and took charge of the situation. "Tabitha, Is it just you?" She shouted at the woman who'd just ran in. "Can you keep Tony alive for now? I can deal with phsycho myself but he's gonna die without immeadite treatment! Screw the rules, Vixie, can you run downstairs to the hospital area and get some freaking medics up here?" Pride thought about sending Emily down for backup but decided against it.

"You think you can challenge me, Pride?" Mary asked meancingly.

Vixie nodded, running off. Tabitha crouched next to Tony, not entirely sure what to do. "STOP!" Emily told Mary. "It won't do any good to fight! The scientists are one thing, but Pride isn't about to stab you!"

"Screw you! I'm getting out of here! I've killed plenty before, a few more for freedom makes no difference to me," Mary said.
"Yeah," Pride snapped. "Well you've never faced someone quite like me before," Pride lunged at Mary.
Mary, shocked, slashed the spike across Prides face in suc a way that it would open a gash on normal people, but on Pride it only cut the skin, resembling the whip wound on her face. Pride caught Mary's arms at the elbows and tried to force her back. Mary, in panic, drove the spike into Prde's cheek. It went in, but stopped about halfway and Mary could force it in anymore so she yanked it out, causing blood to gush from the hole in Prides cheek. But Pride didn't even flinch. "What the hheck are you..?" Mary gasped, scared of Prides nonreaction.
"I'm someone who's lived with these tests for over a year. This is what he gave me. This is what he reduced me to," She let go of mMAry's free arm to punch her in the face, not caring about her stinging hand.
Mary staggered backwards, you could tell she was getting a black eye from this. Pride punched her again. Suddenly she blinked, and her focused expression became one of confusion, and then horror. "No..." Susie whispered, the weapon dropping from her hand. "M-mary... killed..." Susie fell to her knees and wept hysterically. "No, Mary, I should've said something... I should've.... I should've..."

When Vixie finally got back, there were several doctors following her. "Is he still alive?" Vixie gasped.

Pride was about to say she didn't know, when Tony made a tiny sound in his throat. It was like he couldn't talk but he was trying, letting them know he was still alive.

[Raven]

Tabitha moved quickly out of the way and the doctors began treating Tony's wounds. They were much more careful with him than they would be with one of the subjects.

Pride sighed, hoping he'd be okay. She may hate Tony for all he'd put her through, but she didn't think anybody deserved to have their life taken away from them.

[Raven]

After a moment, Tabitha took the weapon Mary had made, so that the tests didn't try to use it again. She exited the room to throw it out, but didn't come back.

Noticing that Tabitha didn't come back, Pride muttered. "What an ass." Before asking the medics. "Is he going to be okay?"

[Raven]

They ignored Pride and moved Tony to a stretcher so they could bring him downstairs.

Pride sighed, wondering wha she should say to Susie, who was still crying in the corner.

[Raven]

"Don't worry," Emily told Susie. "He'll be okay. You don't need to feel bad."

[Gifted]

"I-I should of warned somebody!" Susie sobbed. "M-mary.. SHe's always like that! She-She's been trying to kill Hilary for y-years! I Sh-should've known th-this would h-h-happen,"

[Raven]

"You couldn't have known, you can't read her mind. It's okay. Trust me," Emily said, pulling Susie into her arms.

Susie hugged Emily just sying "I'm sorry" between sobs over and over again until she couldn't cry anymore.
