Massacre 22 vs 22 Raven & Gifted

"Because there's too many of us. With one, we could just be shot and be done with it, but there's gotta be fifteen, twenty people here. and there'll be the same amount on the other side. That's forty chances for someone to wake up before they've gotten to everyone, or for someone to be bulletproof, or whatever. That's forty chances of escape. Here, we can't escape unless we win. Maybe not even then if it all turns out to be a lie."

Maverick said nothing. Tyler certainly didn't want to be the one to be demonstrated on.

[Raven]

No one volunteered. "You're all spoil sports," Ryan told them with a grin, then nudged Toby, who rolled his eyes. "I can use other people's powers, so long as I have contact with them," the other boy told them.
"I can make you feel things," Katia told them.
Kenny was the only one who hadn't shared his power by that point. "Daddy can see memories," Gabriella offered for him.

[Gifted]

"Alright, I think that's everyone." Tyler said cheerily. "Should we set up a watch so the other guys don't attack us tonight?"

Xander grinned wen Gabriel said nothing. "I said I was trying not to think about this, not that I was succeeding." he chuckled.

[Raven]

"Even if that's true... The ones who live will be the strongest," Gabriel told him.

"Of course. Anybody volunteer for watch?" Ryan questioned.

[Gifted]

"True... but the government's already caught them once, right?" Xander said.

Tyler wanted to volenteer but knew it wouldn't be wise with his nonoffensive power.
"I can send Darrien out." Maverick offered.

[Raven]

"Alright, does he need a partner or are you sure he can handle it himself?" Ryan asked.

"Right. But not killed them," Gabriel pointed out. "If they're bulletproof, what do they do?"

[Gifted]

"I would say he can handle himself." Maverick said. He touched Darrien's head and spoke Darriens name.
Darrien came to live, growing again to the same size as before. "What do you need me for, boss?" He asked.
"Darrien, I want you to stay outside by the door and watch for intruders. Sound an alarm if a person tries to sneak in."
"Sure thing!" Darrien touched his cap, then ran outside to stand dutifully by the door.

"I don't know... I've never known anyone who was bulletproof before." Xander shrugged.

[Raven]

"Doesnt mean it cant happen. I mean you dont know anybody on the other team do you?" Gabriel asked.

Ryan nodded. "We should get some sleep the rest of us, along with a meal if you want it."

[Gifted]

"No, I don't... do you?" Xander asked.

"I'm not hungry." Maverick replied.

[Raven]

Gabriel thought about it. "No, I dont think so."

"I think those are bedrooms in the back, take your pick," Ryan told him.

[Gifted]

Xander nodded. Just then, Sharie came out.
"Hey Xander, we're heading to bed. Wake somebody up when you want to switch watch."
"Sure thing. Oh and, Sharie, Gabriel. Gabriel, this is Sharie. She'll be with us tomorrow."
"Pleasure to meet you." Sharie replied, trusting Xander.

Maverick nodded and went to bed.

"Nice to meet you too," Gabriel said. "You're very beautiful."

[Gifted]

Sharie blushed. "Um... thank you?" She said akwardly.
Xander facepalmed.

[Raven]

"Sorry sometimes I say things i don't mean to. My power doesn't always approve of lying by omission either," Gabriel said. He didnt look apologetic.

[Gifted]

She gave a questioning look.
"He's a lie detector, but he can't lie himself." Xander explained.
"Oh." Sharie didn't look altogether satisfied with the explanation. "Then have you asked him-"
"Sharie, I thought you were heading to bed?"
She faltered. Xander wouldn't be rude to her without a very good reason. She'd just have to trust him. "Alright. Night, Xander. Night Gabriel."
