"Right, right, of course, sorry I-" She was cut off by her stomach, which growled rather loudly. "Oh...um, sorry about that. Where's some food at?" She asked, embarrassed.

Carmen grew wide-eyed, blown away by the kitchen of a rich person. She had never really seen such huge amounts of food, even on special occasions. She looked over what they had and cautiously picked up an apple, then began to nibble at it.
"Oh, thank you very much...um, what was your name again?" Carmen asked, taking a larger bite of the apple.

Lark turns his attention back to Ryan once addressed.
"... No. Not really." he says, not sounding too concerned about it.
A question as to the point of this question popped up in his mind, but he puts it aside.

After swallowing, Carmen cheerfully replied, "Carmen. Nice to meetcha, Mel." She bit into the apple again, a smile on her face as she chewed.

Lark gives a blank stare as a reply.
After a moment he adds,
"So if walking isn't allowed, why are you here?" he asks plainly.
Though he didn't want to start a fight because of walking, he found the rudeness of Ryan annoying.
