Velvet swayed slightly. Blue and Seven were dead...?
Without saying a word, she turned on her heel and ran all the way back to her room. She slammed the door and threw herself onto her bed. Blue and Seven were dead. Blue and Seven were dead.
Velvet knew that she had just shown Kat that it meant something to her, that they were both gone. She knew that she shouldn't have allowed herself to like Blue, even a little. She knew that there had been something that was being kept from her, but she didn't know what.
But, they must've had some sort of connection to Kira. She couldn't think of how Kira would know that they were Wammys.
"I knew it," she muttered as she fought to keep back tears. The was she found out reminded her of what had happened to her father; something that she had held back, had kept herself from thinking about while she was at Wammy's.

Kat laid back on her bed. Now that no one was there, and she could be sure no one would barge in, there was no point in hiding her emotions. Yet, she didn't feel anything, just numb. How could so much happen in just an hour? Blue and Seven dead, Circles was either helping Sai or there was another Kira, Rhyme had moved out. She was certain she should feel something, she just didn't. ((Can you tell that I know what I'm talking about?)) Instead of crying, or even throwing something, she just sat there. She felt hollow inside, like she'd been shot. Only, it wasn't painful. Just empty.

Rhyme lingered at the edge of the hallway, frowning. Moving out was so simple, yet symbolic; he had been in that room since the day he arrived at the orphanage, and now it was someone else's. He gave a final glance back at the room and felt his heart shudder. Kat was probably in there, sobbing. Velvet had fled to her room practically in tears.

Somehow, Rhyme had found his way back to the door of room 13B without realizing it. He was too busy thinking about the Kira case. Now that Blue and Seven were gone, and that he had higher priorities, what was going to happen? Velvet would believe anything Kat said, and Kat wouldn't dare lay a finger on Sai...

Rhyme bit his lip, and slid inside, closing the door carefully behind him.

The next day, Circles woke up extremley early, and went onto the computer.Though she didn`t have her brothers technological skills, she was okay at messing with computers. Now she downloaded a virus, made it untraceable, and set it to attack this very computer, wiping away al;ll sevens work oin the case. They couldn`t blame it on her. After all, who`d set a virus on their own computerÉ
this took three hours, nbut finally, with a hit of a key, all Sevens work, including the new L figure voice and the connection and footage of Wammy surveillance, was erased.

(((side note: if you still find the disc, the stuffs on it. Circles didnt know it exsisted and Blue dropped it in the hall somewhere cuz it was useless. *wink wink nudge nuge cough cough*b Velvet))

Rhyme was tip-toeing softly through the hallway in the wee hours of the morning. He held a bowl of cereal, sans milk and eating utensil, stolen from the kitchen, and was sneaking it back to his new room. His wide-eyed look suggested he had either been taking crack or staying up all night. A sudden glint caught his eye, and he glanced down.

Hm? he thought, kneeling, A CD? What's this doing laying around? It looks like the one Blue showed... His wide eyes enlarged, if that was even possible, and he snatched the disc, before running down the hall with a loud tamp tamp tamp and disappearing into his room.

[Raven]

Kat got up at about six AM and got in the shower. When she got out an hour later, she was still feeling horrible. She couldn't believe Sai had figured out how to get Blue and Seven's names. The only way she could imagine that happening was if Circles had helped him. She sighed. It was going to be difficult around Wammy's now that Rhyme was pretty much gone and Blue and Seven were dead.

Velvet woke up earlier than she normally did. She took the time to have a long, hot shower. After doing that, she got dressed and left without letting a sleeping Silk know where she was going.
She needed to do something to take her mind of the case and Blue and Seven's deaths. She just couldn't stop thinking about it. How? What? Who?
Velvet packed her drawing equipment and some other posessions into a backpack and slung it over her shoulder before leaving her room. She avoided Blue's old room on the way downstairs and left Wammy's without turning around to look at it.
She needed to go somewhere. Somewhere other than Wammy's. Just for the day...

Circles sighed and checked the date. She'd left it too long. She'd have to do it now, before somebody did something stupid.
Sighing, she left her room. They would think it two suspicious for an eight year old who'd been on the run half her life to be restless. She'd head to the nearest payphone, make the call, and head back. Now that she thought of it, she thought she'd seen a phone booth on Kanimari Street. She left the orphanage. She'd be back in no time.

Kat frowned. She couldn't take it anymore; she was too alone. It was the worst feeling she'd ever experienced and she'd gone through it twice. Once now, and once when she first came to Wammy's. Then it clicked. She couldn't be with Sai because of what he'd done, but if he could no longer remember it, like if he lost ownership of the notebook, then he couldn't be blamed. Deciding she had to get more information on how he could loose ownership, she jumped to her feet and raced down to the library.

[Raven]

Kat didn't want to go back to her room, she couldn't go to the library, she didn't want to talk to anyone; she had no idea where to go. She ended up in a hallway, sitting against the wall, not quite sure where she was at in Wammy's. She had to figure out the rules, but she had no access to the library. Then she got an idea, and headed back down to the familiar part of the orphanage. Right to Circle's room.

After a while of searching, Kat got what she wanted. Thank you, Seven, for having a computer in your room. I'm really glad I didn't have to deal with Rhyme, she thought. She erased the history on the computer and went back to her room. From there, she grabbed a sketchpad and started drawing out phase one of her plan.

[Rachel]

Velvet arrived at Wammy's quickly and went immediatly to her room. Without knocking on the door, she slipped inside, only to find Silk. With a silent curse, Velvet dropped her backpack on her bed and left, shutting the door without having greeted her roommate. She leaned on the wall next to the door as she thought about how to go about this. Was there any reason that she could randomly go and talk to Kat?
After a moment, she nodded and headed towards Kat's room, knocking on the door when she got there.

Circles walked back into her room and shut the door. She wondered if she should wait before "finding out" there was a virus in Sevens computer. She decided it'd be suspicious if she found the virus too early, and sat down, reading her old favorite book and giggling at the ridiculousness of it. She couldn't believe she jused to like this stuff! Like anyone would actually cheer for the PROTAGONIST of the satory!
She was so gullible when she was younger. She laughed and chucked Series of Unfortunate Events across the room.

Kat glanced up, flipped to a blank page on the sketch pad, and stood. She opened the door and smiled. "Hey, Velvet. What's up?" she asked. Well, then, maybe it wasn't a total lie I told Rhyme, she thought.

[Rachel]

Velvet smiled politely at Kat. "Hey, Kat," she greeted her. "Is Rhyme here?" If he was, that would be a problem, but Velvet couldn't see him. But, then again, she was trying to make it as unobvious as she could that she was looking around Kat's room, so she couldn't see much.
