Wammy House

[Raven]

Kat led Circles up to the room she shared with Rhyme. On the way, when she was sure no one was listening, she leaned down and whispered, "Who's side are you on?"

[Gifted]

Circles as so startled she jumped back. "What do you mean?" she asked. Her shock was genuine."You think I'd be on Kira's side if he killed my siblings?"

[Raven]

Kat shook her head, but not at Circle's question. "I'm not dumb, Rhyme had a point," was her only reply, then she entered her room.

[Gifted]

She glared. "Was that the only reason you invited me in here? To ask me if the guy who killed my siblings is my friend? Geez, I thought you were the nice one!" She snapped. "I'm going to wait in Blue's tree until Rodgers done with Rhyme and whatever paperwork he needs to do," She turned around and ran out of the room, leaving behind a single wet dot on the carpet.
A teardrop.
She ran out into the yard again and climbed Blues tree, happy she was now big enough, and sat on Blue's favorite branch. she cried there silently for a few minutes, acting like she was trying to hide it.

[Raven]

Kat rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry, Circles, but in case you didn't remember, there are no nice ones at Wammy House. I suppose you might not have realized that, being with your family," she murmured after Circles was already gone.

[Rachel]

"Facebook?" Velvet asked after Rhyme had left, "Whatever is Facebook?" She rolled her eyes. "Should a Wammy really be on Facebook?"
She turned around and wandered outside, debating whether she should go back to her room or not; she hadn't heard about Blue and Seven. She started walking in that direction before back down the corridor. When she reached Kat's room, she hesitated outside for a fraction of a second. Would she and Rhyme be up yet? She shrugged before knocking.
((Velvet likes to knock on random people's doors. XD))

[Raven]

Kat opened the door. "Oh, hey Velvet. Rodger had Rhyme go to one of the other rooms for some reason. Maybe it's something regarding the Kira case, or just that they've decided it's a bad idea to put a guy and a girl as roommates," she rambled, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. She was clearly worried about something.

[FoxTrott]

"Come in."

That certainly wasn't a voice Rhyme had heard before. It sounded electronic, like it had been synthesized by a computer. Curious, he slid inside the room, and shut the door behind him. Rhyme shut his eyes, bit his lip, and turned around without opening them. "Um, somebody wanted to see me...?"

[Rachel]

"Oh?" Velvet asked, slightly curious. "What happened outside, with that girl...? She was crying wasn't she?" She hesitated. "Well, you guys are 'together', so maybe he thinks you might... get up to something in the darkness. But why would he care?" She shrugged and chewed on the inside of her cheek. "But, whatever..." She smiled.

[Raven]

Kat winced as Velvet mentioned Circles. "That was Blue and Seven's little sister... She was crying because Kira and some assistants set a trap to get Blue and Seven's names. Blue and Seven are dead. She watched it happen. She also said that she thought that Kira was female, but she couldn't be sure. I should probably ask about what age she seemed..." She sighed. "As for why Rodger would care, I have no idea. Plus, I'm pretty sure we're not going to get anywhere close to that any time soon. Maybe when this is all over, if we both live."

[Sar]

Yami walked out of her room and slipped her feet into her shoes. She was once again in her running cloths, short shorts and a tank top. She let out a breath and head downstairs and then finally out the door of the house, where she started her run around the grounds and then out into the neighborhood.

[FoxTrott]

"Hey, Kitty, I'm back--Oh, hi, Velvet!"

Rhyme had been so concentrated on his experience that he ran straight into Velvet. He sidestepped around her, and made his way to the closet. Without glancing towards either of them, he began to pull his clothes off their hangers.

"Rodger wanted to see me about changing my room," he sighed, frowning, "Apparently, I can't room with you anymore, Kat... He wants me to change rooms, and I'm not going to argue with the man that lets me stay here." Rhyme turned around, and dragged a suitcase out from under his bed. "Sorry," he added, looking at Kat.

[Raven]

((If you think it's a big secret the real reason Rhyme was given a new room *cough*like Yami*cough* and called into that room *cough*like Yami*cough* it's not))
Kat nodded sadly. "I kinda figured that this was going to happen. I don't get why he expects you to be out right away, though..." She sighed once more.

[FoxTrott]

(( Then what's the secret? ))

"I'm not quite sure either," he said as he began packing the suitcase, "But, again, I'm not arguing." Rhyme managed to fit his pile of hoodies inside the case after stuffing them inside and shutting the lid tight. He gave a quick kiss to Kat, grabbed the suitcase, and stopped at the doorway.

"If you find any of my stuff lying around," he added, turning back towards Kat, "just leave it there. I'll get it eventually... Probably."

[Raven]

((Well, I don't think you want me to tell the others, but for those of us who actually read, the answer is kinda in Yami's meeting and the plot section))
Kat nodded. "Okay..." After Rhyme had left, she spoke to Velvet. "I don't know if there's anything else you want, but if there is, please go ahead." Really, Kat was asking Velvet to leave.
