[Raven]

Kat glared after her, then turned and buried her face in Rhyme's shirt.

[FoxTrott]

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out," Rhyme said the moment Blue finished. He stood there for a few moments, steaming, before he noticed Kat burying herself in his shirt. Rhyme grabbed Kat, and held her close, eyes closed.

"At least things can only get better from here," he whispered, choking back a sob, "What next."

[Raven]

Kat shook her head. "I don't know," she admitted. She didn't feel like mentioning their room was no longer private.

[FoxTrott]

Rhyme regained his composure, and sat down on his bed. He sat there for a couple minutes, trying to figure out what he would say.

"So. Seven."

The teen leaned back, and glanced around the room, looking in every corner for some type of camera.

"Since you're probably watching this, or will watch this, this is what I have to say." Rhyme held up his middle finger, looking at nothing in particular. "But, good job... At least we're on the same page. Even though it took quite an emotional toll..."

He raised his hand higher. "Here's to a new start!"

[Raven]

Kat couldn't help but snicker, then she joined Rhyme on his bed. Leaning over him, she murmured, "Let's give him a reason to give us our privacy back," and kissed him.

[FoxTrott]

"Err, um, uh," Rhyme stuttered, his previously composed self lost, "I'd rather not perform, let alone do it in front of a camera, just yet, Kat... That's a bit too fast for me." He leaned over and kissed Kat back. "I'd like to keep it at this speed, for now..."

Rhyme jumped up from the bed like he had seen a spider.

"They know our names!" he exclaimed, "If they've seen that footage, what else have they--" Rhyme quickly realized what he just said, and looked up at where he supposed the camera was. "Pay no attention to the redhead in the camouflage."

[Raven]

Kat laughed, blushing hard. "That's not even what I meant, Rhyme!" she exclaimed, sitting up on his bed.

[FoxTrott]

"Um... I knew that." Rhyme slunk back down onto the bed, laughing nervously. "Hey, why don't we go for a walk to, y'know--" he addressed the supposed position of the camera "--get some privacy. Maybe some ice cream, too."

[Gifted]

Seven snickered when Rhyme flipped him off. "A new start? After that fiasco with Blue? She'll never trust you again.. ametuers," he muttered. He frowned when Rhyme said he knew their names. "No I don't. Hmm..." After surfing through eeverything saved on his computer, he concluded the names must have been spoken just before he'd set up the cameras. "Well isn't that inconvienient...."

[Raven]

Kat was still blushing. "Sure," she agreed, standing up awkwardly. "Ice cream shop, then?"

[FoxTrott]

"Yeah. Let's go."

Rhyme grabbed a camo cap from his closet, and placed it firmly on his head before departing the room. He was about to walk right past Blue and Seven's room, but he couldn't let the opportunity go. Rhyme opened their door, and leaned inside, peering at Seven's computer.

"I don't think you're interested in the case," he commented, "I think you're spying just to see Kat shirtless. Or me shirtless." As he was about to leave, he added, "I look much better, by the way."

[Raven]

Kat tried to stifle a laugh behind her hand, then pulled Rhyme out and down the hall. Once they were out the front door, she burst into laughter.

[Gifted]

He rolled his eyes and witthout looking backwards at them, flipped off Rhyme. "That's for a few minuites ago," he said, an unuasual hint of smugness in his voice. Then he opened an online game and ignored them.

[FoxTrott]

"If only your sister had some humor in her!" Rhyme called as Kat pulled him away. When they were outside, he couldn't help but laugh with Kat.

"I know it's not normal to be so humorous after... well, after that," he said, smile turning into a slight frown, "But I'm not going to go around brooding all day. I'd rather be laughing than crying."

[Raven]

"Same here," Kat said, her laughter fading. Plus, she thought, I need to act like I don't know anything Rhyme doesn't...
