Velvet had settled herself in a different tree from which she had sat in the last several times and watched the house, wondering who the girl was. As far as she knew, the only person that visited him was Kat, for whatever reason that was... Maybe she had started seeing him again... After all, she hadn't seen Rhyme and Kat for quite some time.
Velvet sighed and leaned back against the tree, only glancing at Sai when he returned home.

In that two hours, Teale was busy. After making sure he'd really gone, she'd gone upstairs and took a hairpin from her pocket (she'd bought it for her disguise, she couldn't wear a ponytail forever) and picked the lock. She then turned on Sai's computer and grinned when she found it wasn't password protected. The first place she checked was computer history. There were alot of websites on there, but what intriged her most was the fact many of the websites were either password protected or otherwise inaccessible, which meant...
"He must be a hacker," she murmured. Whipping out her phone (which is password protected, no stealing while she's sleeping) she snapped a picture of the website list, making sure each link was visible. Then she moved onto the hard drive. She found what she was looking for, but it was impossible to read. It wasn't encrypted, more like there was something missing. She was pretty sure she knew what that mean.
"He wiped magnets over his computer, he must have something to hide."
However, she wasn't her brother, she didn't know how to fix this problem. In desperation, she tried to e-mail it to herself only to find Sai had a password protected e-mail. So she went onto yahoo and logged into her own e-mail, and e-mailed it to sevens e-mail. She couldn't get into her brothers e-mail, nor could anyone else. But the files she sent would also be on the copy in her sent folder, and that was all she needed. If she ever got acces to acomputer, she might be able to pay some tech geek to figure it out.
Wiping all evidence that she'd been on Sai's computer, including wiping the keyboard so there would be no fingure prints -she didn't know if Sai could check for finger prints, but better safe than sorry-, she shut it down and left Sai's room, taking careful care to lock the door. she didn't know if she had time to look for the Death Note. She went back to the couch and surfed through the channels. She didn't normally watch tv, but she found a news broadcast and thought there might be news of more deaths by Sai's hand, so she watched it until Sai got home.

Sai quickly came in when he came home and noticed she was on the couch still," Did you sit here and watch t.v all day? Well either way I'll be cooking dinner soon...will you be wanting some? I don't mind cooking for my guests."

"Um.. sure, I guess," she said. "And I haven't seen a news broadcast in days, world war three could have broken out and I wouldn't have known, I thought it was time to catch up," she smiled.

[Dokeshi]

"I understand," and with that he went into the kitchen and started cooking them both some dinner.

When her news broadcast was over and she found out Sai hadn't killed in quite some time as she'd suspected, she got up and went into the kitchen. "Um.. do you need any help?" she asked.

[Dokeshi]

"Well if you want you could help a bit...could you put the noodles into the water please?" He spoke while tending to the sauce.

"Alright," She did so, though with other things on her mind. She was thankful Seven had taught her how to put a PIN code on her phone. Sai couldn't steal her stuff while she slept.

The food was soon done and Sai set the table and sat down, after a minute he began to eat his food.

Teale sat down, eating the spaghetti politely, although quite honestly she preferred spahetti with parmesan cheese on top

((most random comment ever, I know. ))

He looked up to her," Hmm another person that likes it plain? Most people like Parmesan or Romano cheese on it... it's over there in the cupboard if you're interested." Sai said and continued eating.

She smiled. "Actually I do prefer it with Parmesan, I just didn't want to ask when you've been doing so much for me today," she got up, grabbed it, shook the container over the spaghetti until it was sufficiently sprinkled on, and put the cheese back.
"don't you needto be 18 to have your own house? You look younger thanthat," she said conversationaly.

[Dokeshi]

"Well I'm not sure if it's legal or not but both of my parents died... I refused to go into a foster home or an orphanage..."

"and the cops didn't make you? Lucky kid," she grinned. "Speaking of which isn't there and orphanage just up the road there? Whimmy House or whatever it's called? I saw it when the cab drove in,"

"I don't know if I'm smart enough...it's full of geniuses after all."
