Kaminari Street is the quietest street in Kura udo and is mainly used for apratments and small homes. Kyusai Kibo lives in one of the cheaper Apartnments with a full time job and lives alone. ( Post here to interact with Sai when he is home or to stalk him or something. )

Her fingers hit the keyboard violently as she typed another essay for another class that she wasn't even going to use in life. Yes, a semi pessimistic view on life. Finally she pressed 'Ctrl' and 's' on the keyboard. Finally finished. She let out a sigh and close the window to another word document entitled 'The Death Penalty'. She sighed and started another essay. The tea she was drinking was already cold but she took a sip anyways. Then a shout from another room from her mother stopped her. 'Sai was here?' she though and her gray-blue eyes lit up with excitement. She got up and rushed to the door, not taking the time to take her brown hair out of the pony tail or take off her glasses that she only used for typing. "Hikari!" he mother said loudly "It is not polite to keep your guests waiting," Hikari ran down the stairs and said "Sorry mom, just saving," Hikari's mother shook her head and said "I will go make tea," Hikari live in an old fashion family. Her father went to work, where he was now, and her mother stayed home. They were not extremely wealthy but the thrived, her father working two jobs. Hikari looked at Sai and said "SO, what brought you here so un-announced?"

Sai looked up and smiled at her. He soon replied," Well I just felt like showing up today is there a problem with it?" He was thinking about telling her about the book he had just picked up but decided against it and contiued to smile.

"It's no problem," Hikari said "Haha has been wanting to make me tea all day but I haven't let her, sense I have my own upstairs. She the called to her mother "We will be upstairs!" she then ran up the stairs and towards her room. Her room wasn't to fancy, raised bed that had another be fold out underneath, a desk by the window with her laptop and home work on. Around that that all other open wall had some form of shelf on it, holding more books than any other room in the house. on a few of the higher shelves were small trinkets, pictures and trophies from different sports and academic clubs that she was was involved in. Yes, she was an over achiever but she didn't want to have a difficult life in the future. She wanted security and safety, something that her family didn't have until she was twelve. She left the door open for her friend though she knew that he would close it afterwords. She then took a seat in front of her desk and said "So, what brought you here today?"

Sai followed at a decent pace and closed the door when he entered as he commonly did. He replied somewhat uncertainly," I was just feeling Stir crazy and I was walking down the street I guess it was instinct that brought me here." He sighed and contiued ," There just hasn't been much to do at my Apartment. How have things been for you?" He was lightly batting one of his earings.

"You can sit down you know," Hikari said as she turned herself slightly back an forth in her chair. She sighed and answered "Okay, have to finish on last essay and I am exhausted after running,"Hikari was a member of the track team and had been persuaded by her Sensei to continue all year round though season was over. "But are you okay? You usually don't drop in like this." she looked at him and said "Haha is always open to let you stay over if you need a place to stay. Hikari's mother always felt sorry for Sai, living all by himself but knew he would not except living with them, especially with Hikari's strict father, though he was rarely home beside for sleeping.

He nodded and took a seat before replying," I couldn't impose on you guys," he quickly changed the subject, " what's your essay supposed to be on?" He leaned toward the computer and a small black corner barely peeked out of his jacket barely noticable. He began to speak again," Do you need any help on it?"

She looked at him and said "The death penalty," she let out another sigh and said "Debating to talk about Kira in it. I have to read it class and I don't think I want to deal with all the overly religious Kiraists at our school, and then if not them then those who make jokes off of it." She turned to her laptop and said "I wish that stupidity was a crime,"

Sai Smirked and chuckled a little he replied," If stupidity were a crime we'd have gallows on every corner in the city." He sat closer to her and examined the computer monitor." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pack of pockey ate one and offered her some of it.

Hikari took the Pocky and stuck it in her mouth, letting it hang out a bit. "Hum," she said aloud. She took a bite and then took the pocky out from her lips before it fell. "SO, why are you here today, it is kinda late." She turned and said "You can stay over tonight my chichi is staying at the office tonight so you can stay in here."

"Well maybe I should stay tonight I lost track of the time I shouldn't be outside this late," He replied and smiled at her. A bit more of the Deathnote peeked out and he stood up. " Should we let your parent's know I'm staying tonight," He asked her.

"She probably already figured, but we can tell her later," Hikari was a bit annoyed with her question not being answered but she pushed it off. "So what happened to you today?" She had answered him about her day so he should answer the same question.

Hikari stared at the note book that was in her hands. 'Is this real?' she thought. I had been rumored that a note book had killed all those people years ago but the police let out no information to prove it. She stared at it for a moment and then looked up "Is this...Is this the real note book?"
