Jack waved and wandered over. "Hello!" he said cheerily. "Who are you?" Mia blinked and followed silently behind. Jack wasn't usually so... friendly.

"Hello, Hope Love Clark! I am Jack," the small boy said and nodded as if approving of him being Jack. He pointed to Mia. "That's Mia!" Mia half-smiled and raised her hand, deciding that because I was happy, he was happy.

"It's nice to meet you too!" Jack said, grinning. "We just got here. Do you live here? My mum is named Rachel!"
Mia stepped forward. "Do you mind if we come up?"

Jack looked uncertainly at Mia. "What if I fall down?" he asked. Mia sighed.
"I'll catch you, okay? You go first," she replied patiently. Jack bit his lip but turned around and started climbing up. Mia stood until he was up and then started climbing. Once she was in the treehouse, they sat down next to each other. "Which ones were they?" Jack asked curiously.
