TSE Reunion

[Rachel]

"Well, I'm glad. But, if you do, make sure you clean up after yourselves. I don't want our host in trouble from the police, and I'd rather not deal with funerals. I'm too poor," Nick said, smirking slightly. Mia blinked blankly at him. I shook my head. "I don't think you're alone in the hyperactivity," he added, "I don't actually think Rachel ever grew up."
"I blame Brad," I said quickly and lowly. Nick ignored me.

[Raven]

I grinned. "High five for not growing up, Rach!" I exclaimed, raising my hand. "However, I have an excuse." I stuck my tongue out again. "I write children's stories and young reader novels under various pen-names. I like to think of it as a spy mission. If they find out who I am, I'll never be let alone."

[Gifted]

"That's cool!" I said. "I've been trying to write, but none of my books end up finishing. Still!" I laughed. I'd had this problem as a kid too.
"And i don't think any of us have really grown up. If a teenage singer matures, they stop being cool. Just look at avril lavigne," I smiled. "I'm still a thirteen year old trapped in a thirty four year oldbody. I'm just still more mature than you," I grinned. "Speaking of which..." I drew several CDs from my pockets and tossed one to each person. "Surprise gift, they don't come out till next week. Look at the firs six songs. Heck even the tittle might make you laugh,"

[FoxTrott]

"Free music!" Fox exclaimed, catching the CD. Rob walked over and examined it, while Fox giggled.

"I do not get it," he said. He leaned closer to his wife, and whispered, "Who are these people, anyway? None of them seem like co-illustrators or co-authors... There are two musicians, for Gods' sake."

"Old friends," Fox explained with a smile. She pointed to each of them as she spoke. "Sar, she's the one that made the forum. Gifted, she kept us from doing anything stupid. Rach, she's the awesome Australian. Rave, I met her through school. Crow, he used to be Rave's boyfriend. Sum and Amber are from school, too. Diz is just awesome." She leaned back in her chair, and closed her eyes. "I'd give you guys a gift, but I doubt you'd want to look at comic book scripts..."

Ciel followed Sar's children into the tree house, making sure to tie Vigilante to the tree before climbing up. He whistled in amazement once he saw the manga. "What's that one?" he asked, pointing, "'Death Note'? I found an essay Mom wrote called 'Death Note and The Right to Play Death'... I didn't understand any of it, mostly because I barely spoke English, but that Kira person sounds interesting..."

[Raven]

Hope gaped at Ciel. "Wow... My mom's friend's kid has been on Earth for, what, 15 years, and he hasn't read Death Note... I got the full series when I was 6. Death Note is one of our mom's favorite manga... Actually, she's only read three... The rest she watched the anime for instead. She wouldn't let me watch Fullmetal Alchemist yet. She said I could when I was 14... I don't know why, though. She let me watch Code Geass two years ago and we just started Darker Than Black. But what exactly are you wondering about it?" she asked. "Death Note, I mean."

I caught the CD, flipping it over to look at the song names on the back, giggling slightly. "Well, Gifted, I don't know the songs too well, I wasn't allowed in the band... As one of the songs states," I said, grinning.

[Dokeshi]

I caught it and laughed slightly as well," I remember these...that was back when it was just you tube though."
Kenny looked at Ceil and blinked.

[FoxTrott]

Ciel looked away, embarrassed. "I just want to know what it's about," he said, quietly, "Mom has her manga somewhere in the attic, along with all her old books. I don't go up there, though; there's rats up there."

[Gifted]

I laughed. "I just knew you guys would remember. I didn't include the songs you guys made, because, well, tyou guys made them, and I didn't want to steal uyour creations, but I found thedrafts for mine laying around awhile back and said 'you know what? It's time theese got published.' "

"We've seen Death Note," Cristel said, indicating her and Sapphire. "Robbie hasnt, mom promised him she'd let him watch it this year once school was out. The whole family watched Code geass when we were four, and then robbie watched it when he was four as well... we've watched pretty much every other anime mom likes all our lives. We havent read the manga yet though, we didn't have time to look for it,"
Cristel gave a sly smile as Robbie shut off his videogame and surveyed the manga with intrest.

[Raven]

"Death Note is about a teenager who finds a Shinigami's notebook. Shinigami are gods of death. So he learns the rules of the note and decides to become a god of the Earth. He kills criminals under the pretense that they don't deserve to live. After a while, the cops notice and send the best detective agent in the world, L, to try to catch him. Light Yagami becomes known to the public as Kira," Hope told Ciel.

[FoxTrott]

Ciel tilted his head, thinking. "That's interesting," he commented, "I'll have to dig through Mom's collection some time... Does Kira win in the end? Or does L?"

Meanwhile, Vigilante was marking the tree as his territory.

[Raven]

"I can't tell you! It would ruin it!" Hope exclaimed.

[Rachel]

I high-fived Raven before catching the CD and turning it over, examining the back. I grinned as I read it. "Gifted, I. Love. You. This is awesome!" I exclaimed, looking up at her. I ran a hand through my short hair.
"I actually managed to publish my first novel at the end of last year. Do you remember Manic? She's rather... heavily involved," I told them, smirking slightly. "Other than that, though, I'm in a band, which is pretty cool." After a moment, I turned around to look at my kids. "Do you guys want to go and play... excuse me, hang out with the other children?" I asked them. They both exchanged a glance. I sighed slightly and turned back. "Do you know where the others went?"

[Raven]

I shrugged. "If they aren't in the front, they're in the back. Anywhere else and I doubt my kids would have been convinced to go," I told Rachel.

[Rachel]

I turned around. "Well, begone, my children! May the Atori legacy live on!" I cried, flinging my arm up in an epic pose. Mia blinked at me and Jack copied my awesome pose.
"Bye, Mum," Mia said and took Jack by the arm to go and find everyone else. After deciding that they weren't out the front, the pair went out back. "Hello?" she called hesitantly.

[Raven]

"He-ellooooo!" Hope cried to the air, poking her head out to see who was calling.
