She sighs,
"Well, that much it true in the least.... Fine I'll spill it."
There is a moments pause,
"Have you ever heard of crypteds? Animals, etc, that are refused by science for being myth. Well let me tell you. Some are definitely not. I've seen quite a few, but people refuse to believe it. Blocking and taking down proof that I've found... The rainforest was my latest expedition. This one village has had an increase of Ahool sightings and other strange happenings. I figured, in the least I can show it's only a bat, if not what they believe it to be."
She takes a moments pause,
"We sited it among other things. It's definitely not a normal bat... We lost someone in the group who went off on his own. That jungle has many things hidden in it. I plan to go back within the next week or so."

Ivan sat back. "Have you found any facts or proof on this crypted you searching for?" he asked, intrigued.

"Well, I saw it carry away one of our guys.... Got a few photos. A track. A fur sample. However the fur sample mysteriously went missing during shipping."
She sighs at this last part.
"I'm concerned that one of the staff is meddling with the findings. I managed to keep a majority of the photos safe.... And one film reel... I brought them with me, to ensure no one would try anything."

Ivan thinks for a moment. Wow, this is some real evidence. I wonder, I do have 2 months off from work, could I ask if I could help? I do have 1.2 million rubles in saving at the bank for my yacht, but..
"So," Ivan askes, "It's taking your staff? Do you have enough people for the expedtion?"

"Yes, its carried off one, attempted two others...."
She puts a hand to her upper arm, checking to be sure it was still covered by wrappings under her sleeve.
"We are short a few people..... After the Mongolian incident.... We only bring people who realize the risk now, and that are willing to take it."
She sighed at the mention of 'the Mongolian incident'.

"I'm not sure if I should ask about the 'Mongolia Incident.'" Ivan said, "But, if it's people you need, I'm off work for 2 more months, and I always could ask for more. I also have some money if you needing it."

"Just know the risk you're getting into..."
She waits a moment,
"The Mongolia Incident.... It was one of our first. Three months wandering that waste land and we found nothing. Then it happened...."
Malvion droops his head before she continues.
"The crypted we'd been searching for appeared. Right behind us, no one noticed besides the camels. They were acting skittish that day. No one noticed until it was to late. It grabbed the photographer at the end of the caravan, and took both him and his camel under the sand. It quickly returned, that or there were more then one. By the end of it, it took five people and seven camels.... The cameraman caught most of the attack on film. That's the footage I've saved..."

Ivan was stunned. Never before had he heard anything like that happen before. Still, I can survive the Russian winter every year in just a wooden house, I can survive an animal. he thought. "So, when were you planning on going back?" Ivan asked.

The waiter walked in and delivered the food, and Malvion's food and drink as well. Ivan thanked the waiter then turned back to Sparrow. "Ok, well, have you found anywhere to put the stuff?" asked Ivan.

"I'm going to put them in one of my hide outs." she says lowly, in case anyone was listening in.
Malvion pecks at his bowl of dried fruit.

"Probably because every Batman villain had one. Even Condiment man had a lair if I'm not mistaken."
She smiles,
"I have more then one, I think I'll hide them in separate places. It shouldn't take long."
