Malvion flies back up to his perch.
"That's pretty much the polar opposite of where I've come from. It never snows in the Amazon Rainforest, and if it did, the climate change fanatics would throw a fit." she said, smiling at the last part.

The menu displayed a multitude of food, exotic and classic.
Below, it displayed a list of foods available for the pets, fruit, veggitables, meats, and nuts.

Sparrow nodded,
“So you want dried fruit?”
Malvion replies with a cooing sound.

She looked at the menu a moment more,

The waiter came by and asked for the menus, and if they were ready to order.
As Ivan handed the waiter he menu he told him his order. He then turned and asked Sparrow, "For you, ma'am?"

"Ah, I have fail timing, that reunion thing and all. I didn't get the invite till the day before it was. I was in the deep rainforest so, yeah late. I figured I'd come to see how things have changed anyway. A little break from research."
She smiled,
"What about you?"

Ivan inhailed sharply but, quitely, The reunion! I was so caught up in work I forgot about it! he though.
Ivan rubbed the back of his neck, "Oh, just some family stuff." he said.
"So research you said, what kind of research?" he said quickly, trying to change the subject.
