"Because our daughter told you to," I replied, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Heh, d'you reckon Dad's gonna be pissed?" Mia asked Jack. Jack glared at her. "Don't swear," he said. Mia scoffed slightly but shut up.
"Can I have BB now?" I asked hopefully. Nick shook his head and sat down next to me.

"Pissed is the past tense of piss, which is pee!" I said loudly.

Mia giggled but Jack frowned. "Don't swear!" he said again before beginning to cry.
((Jack's starting to sound like my sister. x3))

I shrugged, snuggling closer to my Crow-kun.

"She didn't," Mia said. "I don't really think she cares what I say. They're just words. I don't know why Jack's so retarded." Jack started to cry even more.

"My mom was the same way..." I looked at Mia with a serious expression. "Go to the mental firm now, while you have the chance." I smirked slightly.

"Must I go on my whole speal about the word retard?" Sapphire sighed. Cristel smirked. "Oh shut up Sappy, you know you just ripped it straight out of Gone," "Quit calling me Sappy!" Sapphire snapped. Cristel laughed at her. Robbie smirked. "Sappy, Sappy, Sappy," he crowed. "Shut up!" Sapphire snapped at him.

Mia rolled her eyes at the younger girls, ignoring them. She knew full and well what the word actually meant (I had explained it to her like my old music teacher had one day in band, which was the best explanation ever), but she chose to use it the way she did. "The mental firm?" she asked Raven, unfamiliar with the term.

"Nut house, crazy's building, the institution," I listed, clearly enjoying myself. I laughed. "Insane asylum."

"Insane asylums are creepy," Cristel said. "How do you know? You've never been in one," Sapphire countered. "Have you ever seen a movie that's not a horror movie set in an insane asylum?" Cristel demanded, and smirked when Sapphire couldn't answer.

I laughed. "Asylums aren't all that bad. After all, the patients all have straight jackets, and they're locked in their own room. It's only because nothing else would ever really happen in an insane asylum. Nothing interesting, at least."

"Oh, okay," Mia said, smiling slightly. "Unless the crazy guys break out of their cells and straight jackets and stuff..." She paused in thought. "I think I watched a movie with Mum where that happened. It was an old as movie..."
"You have to promise me that you're not going to attack little kids anymore, okay?" Nick said in all seriousness. I stared at him for a moment. "But she took my L. I'm L. She took me," I said sulkily. Nick sighed, mentally facepalming. "Yeah, and? It's just a bit of chocolate, it's not overly important or anything..." I rolled my eyes and nodded. "Fine then... But she would've deserved it." Nick blinked by passed me the Beyond Birthday and led me back inside to find a crying Jack.

"Hello, Rachel. I was just in the middle of telling your son how unimportant he is," I said brightly, grinning.
