Nick decided to intervene now before I ended up attacking the girl. "Rachel," he said, "Come with me a moment." He grabbed the B figurine before dragging me outside.
"Sit," he said, "And calm down. And when you do, you can have Beyond."
"Beyond?" I asked, looking up at him. He nodded.
Mia leaned against the wall, looking vaguely amused.

I kissed him for a moment. "You're forgetting that you're their father, that drowns out the embarrassment of me being their mother. I'm not sure because it's embarrassing or amazingly epic," I whispered, then kissed him again.
"Get a room," Hope muttered loud enough for us to hear.
