"..." Fox couldn't even formulate a sentence. ".. and why are you freaking out about this, Raven?"

Amarinn glanced up at Gifted, and didn't feel anything when she was close to tears. Emotions were unwanted things, and he had done well without most of them. He shut off his laptop and slid it back into his messenger bag, and stood up.

"Here's to hoping he's listening, then."

He stared straight at Gifted, and poured all his concentration into his open hand. When he closed it into a fist, Gifted would feel the worst migraine she had every had, along with building pressure constricting her windpipe.

"I demand one good reason not to kill Princess Gifted right now."

[Raven]

"Because the gifteds were supposedly dead, and now they're all showing up, and I'm pretty sure they're not happy with me, and there's not much we'd be able to do to stop them," Raven answered quickly.

Gabriel gasped, slipping up behind Amarinn. "I'll give you a reason," he said.

[Gifted]

I was more shocked than I should've been when Amarinn attacked me.

Despite what I'd said, I couldn't help trusting him, at least a little.

Despite my shock, I immeaditley matched the powers with gifteds I knew, and came to a conclusion whom this 'must' be.
"Xander, please!" I cried, stumbling backward. "Please, you've got to fight him... he used Sharie against you, remember? He brainwashed Sharie! Don't let him use you, too... please.." I fought through the headache, but I kjnew Emric wcould attack in a matter of seconds, and then it'd be all over.

[Sparrow]

The orb in the pack was ready to help if needed, though it would rather not come out.

[FoxTrott]

"... Oh, that's not good," Fox replied.

Amarinn was confused as to who this Xander person could be, but he assumed it was one of Panem's gifteds. "My name is Amarinn," he replied, blinking in disbelief and ignoring the little trouble maker that slid up behind him, "I'm not one of your little experiments. Emric, I demand one reason to not kill your puppet before I let her feel what it would be like to have a vice grip on her brain."

[Raven]

"Touch her and you will have all of Ravonia's gifted force against you," Gabriel told Amarinn. "Let her go."

Raven shook her head. "No.."

[Gifted]

I didn't even hear him... Emric had chosen to attack at that moment, and I almost screamed. As it was, my words came out in strained sobs, and I had to fight for every word. "Ariel... died.. for... Kanon..impaled...her... Emric..made..him... almost... got...Sharie..killed... please...Xander...fight..." I didn't have the strength to speak anymore.

[FoxTrott]

Amarinn glanced back at Gabriel. "I'm not touching her," he replied plainly. He squeezed his fist, increasing the pressure on the princess' head. He glanced back at Gifted. "Nor is my name Xander. My name is Amarinn, and I am a mutant."

[Raven]

"Stop," Gabriel ordered. "No matter your abilities, you're no match for more than forty Ravonian gifteds."

[Sparrow]

The Orb watched Fox for a moment before deciding to ask.
"... Has anyone you know gone missing? Not in relation to this previous conversation. But at anytime?" It was mainly was asking this to see if she cared anything about Vincent or Ericken. That way if she did, it could assure her they were fine.

[Gifted]

Combined with Amarinn's pain, the attack was far too much for me to handle. I dissappeared.

"Thank you for your assistance, Amarinn," Gifted spoke in a calm voice, unchanged by the pain her body was going through. "As for one reason, I still need her. My only real access to the throne is through Gifted. Were she to die, everything I've done would be destroyed. I would lose my title, and the palace would be forced to forfeit the civil war because the death of the ruler would throw it into disarray." Gifted looked up, but not at Amarinn.
"But who is this interfering gifted behind you, I wonder?" He addressed Gabriel. "More than forty, you say? There are that many of you not with Kenny?" Gifteds voice held a hint of skepticism.

[Raven]

"No. Why do you think..? What makes you think there are any Ravonian gifteds not under Kenny's reign?" Gabriel asked.

[Gifted]

"Well you're clearly not working with him. Unless you're uninformed. Or, more likely, double-crossing him."

[FoxTrott]

"Err, no," Fox replied, "why?"

The moment Gifted's voice calmed, Amarinn released his hold on her, and coughed into his fist. That took far too much out of him than it should. "You're welcome, Father Emric," he replied, giving a slight bow, "I see..." He turned around to see Gabriel. "You won't be able to tell said forty gifteds about me if you can't speak. I know where your voice box is."

"They're gifteds, I don't have to speak," Gabriel replied. "Unformed of what? Your alliance, Emric?"
