The guards stomach dropped in horror. No! he thought, you can't! He stood up a little straighter and kept the look of fear from his face as best he could. "Miss," he began again, "We're almost there." He pointed to a large police building, just in front of them. "We can take the back entrance if you'd like. It'll be quicker and we won't have to go through the general public's forms and things like that."

Heather rolled her eyes. "Development projects," she muttered under her breath. "Guess I'm going to have to learn to deal with those again," Her eyes narrowed slightly in disgust of the an on the other end of the guy on the buses phone.

Crow was sitting down at his chair, he hadn't moved very much since earlier. Staring at the screen, his eyes started closing, he quickly had the robot return to the hotel with the rest of his men. Yawning Crow fell asleep, not bothering to move to his bedroom behind him.

Raven sighed once again and turned back to Adam, who was sitting next to her. "Oh, God... This is going to be a long and difficult process," she muttered. Adam wrapped his arms around her middle, pulling her closer. "Don't worry, I'll help you through it," he murmured.

((I know x3. I didn't have time to finish that post, figured I may as well)) Raven sighed. "I know. We have three days, because I'm not counting tonight, before the meeting. As usual, we're allowed to bring one person. I'd like you to come. It could be important you do," she told Adam. "Who will stay here?" he asked. "I'll talk to Lynn about it."

The guard hesitated. Word would get around if he went back without the girl, but he didn't want to take her by force when they were out in the street... "Alright," he muttered to her back. "Make sure you're here." Then, he left, heading in the opposite direction. If he hid for the night, it shouldn't do too much harm, especially if he took her back the next day.
"Ma'am, you should get some sleep." A slightly tired-looking Rachel glanced up at Riley, shaking her head. "No, I have to do some stuff..." she muttered, running a hand through her loose hair. "You leave. I will soon." Riley nodded curtly and turned around. Little did Rachel know, he wouldn't be heading off to bed just yet. There were more important matters to attend to. Rachel sighed and resumed writing. Little did Riley know, she probably wouldn't make it to her room. She would probably fall asleep at her desk again. Not that he would know. Not until morning.

Yazmin sighed. Thanks to that stupid guard, she had nowhere to sleep. she decided she'd just sleep off in a corner somewhere.
Meanwhile, I decided now would be as good a time as any to write out formal peace reaties for evryone. I have no problem with breaking them when its neccessary, but it gave Panem saftey to not be involved it war. I sat down and wrote for a little while, then went to bed. I'd film nd send them in the morning. Now that I thought about it, I thought I had a council meeting tomorrow, too.

"Madame, it's past bed time, you should be getting some sleep..."
Fox's trusty secretary crept into the conference room where the former was holed up. Fox was laying on top of the table, papers scattered all around her, with the TV set to the international news. The anchors were engaged in a strong debate about the political ramifications of Mistress Rave's marriage. The secretary walked over to Fox, and nudged her.
When she received no response, she sighed, and laid her jacket across Fox for some sort of warmth before retiring for the night.
"Sorry about the length," the bus driver said, jolting to a halt, "But we're here! Essence! As rainy and dark as ever. This is my last stop, so, please, get off." Samuel yawned, and climbed out of the bus, shortly followed by a couple passengers. He waved his thanks to the driver before turning and waiting for Heather. The rain was relentlessly pouring down, with a rumble of thunder every now and then.
"It's night," Samuel observed smugly, "so I advise finding a place to wait it out. I know the manager of a small motel not too far from here. I'm going to be heading back by noon tomorrow, but I could hook you up with a place for a week or so, til you get your feet wet." He glanced down. "Not literally, of course."

By now, it was too late to go all the way to the other side of the country to take care of the other illegal, so Diz went back to the palace to take care of some last minute business and finally go to bed.
While Diz was in her room typing something for the treasury on her laptop, she heard a few soft and quick knocks. "Cone in!" "Your highness, I've some more information from the general about the progress of Ocean Artem." Sebastian walked casually into the room and handed her a small black binder with the country's coat of arms on the front cover. Diz was beginning to fell asleep and had to rub the sleepiness out of her eyes to read the contents of the binder. After skimming through it, she looked up at Sebby. "Do you think you can just keep this in a safe somewhere until tomorrow, I can barely keep my eyes open." He handed her a cup of tea that Diz was to tired to notice before and took the binder from her small, well manicured hands. Sebastian stood on the heated marble for a second with a determined and passionate look in normally calm passive looking eyes. He opened his mouth as if to say something but stopped, looked away, and walked out the door. "Goodnight.......your highness." he gently closed the door as he left. Diz sipped the tea as she finished with what she was doing on the lap top and wondered about his unusual behavior. Sebastian had been acting rather strange lately but Diz hadn't taken much notice until now, oh well, she was too tired to think about those types of things right now. Sleep was her first priority. She set aside the tea cup, now empty, the laptop, and turned of the lights. "Sigh.....night." addressing nobody in particular.

"Thanks," Heather said, yawning. "You're right, a motel would be the best idea." She allowed him to lead heer to it, checked herself in, and went up to bed.
Joan was rather irritated that she'd have to spend the night like some sort of prisoner. Either Pierce had done something stupid, or Diz had a very disorganized government.

The next morning Diz awoke to the usual sound of chirping birds that was so typical of spring. She remembered almost as soon as she had gotten out of bed that the other illegal was still in custody. Diz quickly got dressed and ran down to the kitchen where Sebastian was preparing her breakfast. "Good morning your highness, today I've prepared a poached salmon and mint salad for breakfast. Would you rather have a side of toast, scones, or campagne?" "Scones please.......is that Ceylon tea?" asked Diz, after she took in a big whiff of air. "Yes your highness." Sebastian walked over to the large table where she was sitting and set down the tray that contained all of her breakfast. "Sebastian, I need a car ready in about 10 minutes. I'm going to go talk to the other illegal." "Yes your highness." he gave a quick little bow and took his cell phone out of his pocket while walking out the door. Diz hurriedly ate her breakfast and quickly made her way to the front doors. Sebastian was waiting for her. "Your highness, I've prepared a car with chauffeur as you asked." "Thank you Sebby." Diz paused with the door half way open. "You know, I always can count on you Sebby....thank you." and with that, she ran down the front steps, got into the car, and drove of to the prison.

Joan had really not minded the hard bed - she could sleep almost anywhere. But the 24/7 acting was annoying. Her body was trained to stay up until at least 11, but here she had to pretend to be tired an hour before that to look like a regular kid. then, also to look normal, she had to toss and turn oon the awful matress and pretend she was uncomfortable, finally allowing herself to actually fall asleep at midnight. But that was yesterday. she woke up fully refreshed and sat up on the bed, waiting for the royal pain in the ass to come greet her.
Back at the palace, I was busy. I have the peace treaty requests to film and send out, the meeting with the princesses of each plenat to discuss national matters, and then the international meeting after that. Speaking of which, she had yet to ask the princess of Venus, Sharon, to be the one to accompany her. "Set up the cameras," I said to one maid. "Address the first one to Crow," "Yes, your majesty,"

Raven was woken with a start by Lynn. "Missy? Can I talk to you?" she whispered. Raven nodded. "But why are you being so quiet?" she murmured. "I don't want to wake anyone. It's important no one interrupts us. Or, for that matter, what we're talking about," Lynn replied. Raven frowned, immediately suspicious. Was Lynn plotting something? Raven had known Lynn for a long time, but even good friends could be turned against each other. Just look at all of the leaders. They were all wary of one another, and would do anything to ensure their own safety from danger that may or may not have existed. Raven got quietly out of bed and pulled on a frilly black shirt and grey jeans. After that, she put on a black cloak. "Okay, let's go," she told Lynn, who nodded and led her leader through the halls. After a while, they reached an old storage room. "I brought you here first to explain, then there's one more thing we need to do... We found another of the girls, only this one was alive. We asked for a description of the one who... Well, you know..." Lynn shivered. "And?" Raven asked, recalling that Lynn had been raped a few years back. "The girl described Adam," Lynn breathed. "What?!" Raven practically shouted. "Shh! That's why we had to be quiet. If A- anyone hears, it could turn ugly," Lynn hissed. Raven nodded. "What was the other thing you mentioned?" "I was going to let you talk to the girl, but if you don't want to..." "I will later. For now, we need to make sure that Adam is in bed. I'll ask him about it later today..." Raven sighed. If there was one person she trusted, it was Adam, but this was pretty incriminating.
