"There are options? Um... which one's cooler?" Liam asked.

[Raven]

"Both are pretty cool. The basement is smaller," Aaron said.

[Gifted]

Liam flinched the moment the word was uttered. "You have a basement?" Liam asked. That was a dumb question. He was a supervillain, of course he had a basement.

[Raven]

Aaron noticed. "The home movie theater is downstairs," he said, raising an eyebrow.

[Gifted]

Liam was perplexed. "The... what?" Did this guy film his kills or something?

[Raven]

"Home movie theater. We have a projector and a popcorn maker," Aaron reported.

[Gifted]

What? "How do you have a home movie theater? Why is it in the basement?"

[Raven]

"It's in the basement because there's less light coming in through windows down there, so we can watch movies during the day," Aaron said. "We've also got a foosball table, and air hockey. Come see." He headed towards the stairs leading down.

Liam wasn't entirely sure. It had only just occurred to him that there was a possibility Aaron had lured him here to become one of his victims. Maybe Aaron just targeted younger kids. It would make sense that his father was afraid of him if his dad had been Aaron's victim the same way Liam was his. And Liam had just gotten into a car and been driven to a strange place with a man he didn't actually know- wasn't that exactly what the teachers were always telling him not to do? With a jolt Liam realized he'd let Aaron lure him back to his house alone the same way his father had lured so many women back into his home. He clenched his fists. He wished he had a knife.
Wait, what? Liam never ever touched weapons unless his dad was in his head. Had he seen his dad since the fight? That wouldn't really make any sense as far as he knew... but it wasn't like he would know. Was his dad in his head, then? Probably. He still wished he had a knife.

[Raven]

"It's alright," Aaron assured him. "I guess that's where your father mutilates the girls, hm?" He'd kept close enough tabs on the house that he knew full well what Kenny's bit was. "Don't worry, if I needed someone killed for some reason, I wouldn't bring them into my home. That's just messy."

[Gifted]

Liam nodded. "Really?" He thought that was a weird logic, but he hesitantly followed. If he was the victim here, he was screwed anyway. Aaron was a supervillain. Liam was a nothing. He'd let Aaron get him into his space. Aaron has super speed, so there was no way Liam was getting out the door. There wasn't any real way his situation could get worse. He felt guilty for letting himself get into this position. He could have rendered all his sisters work for nothing. He followed Aaron down the stairs.

And was shocked when he saw exactly what he'd been told he would see. "Woah, this is crazy! How do you have a real movie theater? Who has a real movie theater?!"

[Raven]

Aaron laughed. "You can have whatever you want when you have money," he said. "Especially if you have powers to back it up."

[Gifted]

"Apparently!" Liam grinned, looking around. "You can buy all this and be protected too..." He looked around in awe.

[Raven]

Aaron smiled. "You don't know the half of it. This might be one of the coolest parts of the house, I'll give you that, so the rest might not be as exciting."

[Gifted]

"That's ok! Can you tell me the other half of it?" Liam asked, drawing closer. He was captivated again, unable to believe this was the real deal. "Can you show me how?"
