"About ten minutes. I live on the other side of town," Aaron said. There was a noticeable shift when they entered the better part of town, with nicer homes, though still not quite the suburban sprawl Kenny lived in. The yards were bigger, and as they drove up the hill, got bigger and bigger until they were no longer able to see the houses at all, and it was almost a question if they were even still in the town. Trees popped up on either side of the road, soon too thick to see through, and they came to the gate. The driver punched in the password and they headed through, the gate closing behind them. Then there was the long drive up to the house, before Liam finally got a glimpse of where his grandfather lived.

Liam nodded. He'd had his own room with his dad too, even though he didn't have much to put inside it. "I just realized I left all my clothes and school stuff at home." He said worriedly.

Liam smiled. "Thanks." He agreed. He wondered what kind of look Aaron would have him wear. As long as it wasn't button up shirts and dark pants it would be a nice change.

"Alright. We can pop a pizza in the oven, then I'll show you the house while it cooks, then we can go shopping," Aaron said, heading up to the front door to let Liam inside, glancing at him.

"Pizza sounds good." Liam answered. He followed Aaron up to the front door and his jaw dropped when he saw the inside. "Woah." He said. "It really is like a movie. I didn't think places like this were real."

Liam followed Aaron close behind, captivated by the sight of everything around him. He stayed very close to the man he was quickly coming to see as his new guardian. Even if he was still extremely skeptical that Aaron meant well, it didn't stop him from being utterly captivated in the moment.
