"I...I think so." Ayane was unharmed, merely scared. Her daughter had recovered as well, and was looking about cheerfully from mommy's lap as though nothing was wrong.

"There's a lot of glass in there," Adam commented. "Maybe some of us can help clean up inside?"
"That's a good idea, Adam," Maggie agreed. "Kailen, you look like you need to sit down before you pass out. Why don't the rest of us see what we can do to clean up?" She headed for the stairs, Ryan following along.

"Ayane, why don't you and Kimiko go get Kailen something to eat?" Amy suggested gently, trying to help her sister get her mind off things.
Abigail followed hurriedly to help pick up the glass. She didn't really want to be left behind to talk to Amy and her family.

Judas stayed with Kailen, not wanting anyone or thing to sneak up on the kid while he was alone.
