Amy realized he was starting to get tense and backed off for now. But she found him quite as interesting as he found her. "Huh. Well, I'm quite well known as a reporter. I'm an investigative journalist, I chase stories for a living. Go all over the world looking for things that need to be talked about. I got my big break three years ago, if you want to call it that. I shut down a cult that had been active for a decade. Found proof the cult leader was raping his followers and keeping them prisoner there so they couldn't leave. All sorts of horrific things. My story was on every major news outlet across the country and saved all of the members of the cult and their children from the leader, so I wasn't about to complain at the time."

"That's what there was to complain about." Amy said. "They blew up my story, put the guy away, but they censored a good half of it to do so. Told me 'Charisma is not magic' like they thought I was a fucking idiot. You can't change memories with charisma." Amy insisted.
