Collin abruptly turned into a squirrel and darted off. He turned back a good ten yards away, realizing that Rick would not be able to follow him as a squirrel. He grinned awkwardly and waited for Rick to catch up.

"Yeah, he got caught. The agent saw me - that's why I had to go on the run." That wasn't at all what happened, but it made a neat and tidy story. I didn't even understand what had happened until a couple weeks later, but the agent had me labeled immediately. It really didn't matter."
