David frowned. "It's a pretty sad story." He told him. "He says his best friend got tortured to death on the table, and his other two friends got vapourized by a gifted agent when the three of them tried to escape. Rook ony survived because his new powers let him become a shadow and dive into a wall at the last second. He hid there for hours before risking continuing on."
