"Fifteen minutes!" The pilot said from the front.
Xander smiled. "Get some rest when we get there." He said to Ryan. He was glad the whole team had made it out.
Meanwhile, Danielle had returned to the lair bleeding from Ryan's gunshot wound. She was nervous. She knew full well what was coming.

"He was the only one to continue to brave the smoke. Ryan, the adapter boy, split off from the rest and shot me. I left his friends body before he could, so the wound isn't too serious. I shot him back, but he turned and fled immediately." Danielle looked down at where she was holding her bleeding wound.
