Stuttering less and smiling nervously, Monique said, "Well, the oils on my skin kind of feel like that. Sometimes. I've gotten pretty good at controlling it, but I still get worried. So, I kind of avoid touching people if I can help it. I didn't want to hurt you by accident." She chuckled, though her smile disappeared. "I always kinda figured that the both of you were gifteds, too, but I didn't want to bring it up out of the blue. If you don't mind me asking, what are your powers?" She didn't specify whose powers exactly, though she was looking at Kailen at the time.
