Kenny had played up his relationship with Danielle exactly how she'd want it to go. He was sweet, kind, chivalrous, and returned her affections just the right amount. She made his skin crawl, but he knew it would be worth it. When she asked, he raised his eyebrows and smiled. "Yeah, I'd like that a lot. I'd especially like to meet your brother - you seem close."
Emilia insisted that no she would not help every time Mira came to talk to her. However, she still mostly remained polite. She was welcome to chatting, as long as Mira didn't press the issue. However, as it became more clear that she was going to press the issue, Emilia became less welcoming. She began to insist sooner that Mira stay away from her, from her fiance, from her home. She did her best to ignore Mira in her daily life. That particular morning, she had to go into the office, and went to get coffee and breakfast first.

"We are. He's a great boy." Danielle answered.
Mira tried to accommodate Emilia with any request that wasn't to stop asking or go away. She'd recently stopped going into Emilia's house for the time being, and so it wasn't until she got out of her car toget coffee that Mira jumped down from where she'd flown up to and began walking alongside her. "Run out of coffee at home?"

Emilia jumped slightly again, but the flinches had grown noticeably smaller. "No."
"I'm excited to meet him. I hope we can get along," Kenny said, smiling.

"You don't usually stop here before work." Mira pointed out.
"You'd be the first." Danielle laughed. "My brother doesn't like my taste in guys very much."

"Am I your usual type?" Kenny asked, with a small smile.

"Well, hopefully that will make a difference. I'd like to be on his good side. I think it's important to get along with family, particularly if they're close," Kenny said.
"I would prefer you leave me alone," Emilia muttered, but she'd made it inside, and she was hesitant to talk. She ordered her coffee and a pastry, and ran her hand through her hair.

"Yeah, me too. I can't imagine how he wouldn't like you, though." Though he wasn't the first guy she'd said that too. "You're wonderful."
"Considering the fate of the world rests on me being convincing, I can't very well do that." Mira answered.

Emilia pulled out her phone and held it in between her shoulder and her ear as she continued the conversation. "Well, you're not going to convince me, so you may as well stop wasting the time you've told me repeatedly you have so little of."
Erin thought nothing of the blonde girl at the counter as she prepared the coffee she'd ordered, then she went to hand the order to her, and saw a familiar creature standing there. That shouldn't be possible...
Kenny smiled. "Thank you, but he probably just has high standards because he knows how fantastic his sister is."

Mira looked down. "None yet," She admitted, staring at her paws.
Danielle smiled and snuggled into his chest. He was so warm and caring. "I can't believe silly old me managed to get someone like you."

"It's not like you're the first one I came to!" Mira protested. "I actually went to Leslie first. Since she was your leader back in the day, it seemed like the most logical person to start with." She fidgeted her paw uncomfortably, nearly scratching the table.
"Thanks Kenny. You always know how to make me feel good about myself."

"So where is she exactly?" Emilia asked
"Good. You always should," Kenny said, smiling. "So are you free for dinner tonight?" It had been a long week, and Kenny wanted to see if he could get her in his bed, though of course that wasn't his primary goal. It would just be an added bonus if he could.
