PTA game

[Neon]

Jet groaned in pain, slowly getting up. His voice was notably higher when he spoke, "Fine. I'm...fine...honest...cool shinx..." He muttered. Montague was still yipping in his little version of laughter, thinking this was absolutely hysterical.

[Crymzun]

"Uhh, are you sure Jet?.. here umm let me help you up.. i'm really sorry... i was,.. trying to help" Nero wasn't really sure what to say, so he just leaned down a little bit extending his hand out to Jet, though he wasn't sure if he was fully conscious or not.

[Neon]

"No probs... Happens.." he said, breathing deeply and standing with the help. Montague pranced about, chittering happily.

[Crymzun]

Nero was staring blankly at Jet for a few moments wondering how he was able to shrug it off so nonchalantly. "Well i really am sorry Jet" He scratched his head nervously and looked at Demetra "So when does Danica's show end?"

[Raven]

The show was ending right then. The winner was announced as Milo the Rattata and a young girl no older than Danica trotted forward with her pokemon at her heels to accept her prize.

[Gifted]

Demetra checked her watch. "Right around now, actually. Let's go back and meet up with her."

[Doom]

Danica lingered in the stands a minute after the audience had already begun to disperse. She eyed Milo, the contest's victor, incredulously, thinking that the Rattata and its trainer had been talented, but not the best contestants. Even so, Danica had cheered loudly when the contest was over, and was satisfied with what she had learned from watching.

Entering the contest hall, Danica's thoughts turned to the absence of the group. She wasn't sure whether to wait or go looking for them. With a sputtering sigh, Danica planted herself on a bench and rubbed her forehead.
"Ah wonder how McDuff would do 'n a contest..."

[Gifted]

Demetra led them all back to where the contest was being held. "Danica!" She cried cheerily. "Did you have fun?"

[Doom]

Danica started upon hearing Demetra, but was quick to cheerily respond, "Oh, 'twas great! These contests are really more 'n ah expected 'em t' be." She chuckled, more to herself than to the group. "Anyway, what were you guys up to?"

[Gifted]

"I caught a Shinx! I caught a Shinx!" Demetra said excitedly. "It's really cute!"

[Doom]

"Oh! Lemme see the little fella."

[Gifted]

"Alright! Come on out, Static!" The Shinx came out of its pokeball and gave a sweet little cry. "I'd like to take it to a pokemon center to get it all healed up and then maybe train while we get out of here."

[Doom]

"Sounds like a plan," said Danica, staying by Demetra's side. "Ah was lookin' t' do some trainin' mahself. Maybe catch some new Pokemon, too. Any idea where t' buy Pokeballs in this town?"

[Gifted]

"Yeah I do!" Demetra looked back to see if the others were following.

[Neon]

Jet limped quickly after. Smiling to hide the waterfall of salty tears threatening to spill out of his eyes.
