The shinx looked rather alarmed that it kept getting balls thrown at it, but it was unhappy that Monty would dare escape from their battle. It tried to tackle Jet.

Jet cursed very loudly and dropped monty, who very bravely ran away to let his protector deal with this awful monster himself.

Jet glanced at the small animal attached to his leg, just holding on completely vertically, like some kind of cartoon physics were in play. He couldn't hold back his laughter, despite the slight pinching pain.

Nero ran after Jet and wound up his leg to punt the small electric kitten "GET OFF OF JET!!"

In a freak accident, Nero's foot missed and went up, delivering a strong blow to Jet's poor, poor manhood. The unfortunate youth could only let out a very high, pitiful noise as he fell, his wide brown eyes full of tears as he crumpled to the ground and fainted.

If vulpixes could laugh, that would be how one would describe Montague's reaction.

Shinx yelped as Jet fell on top of him, and quickly retreated from the fallen trainer, but its eyes were firstly on Nero after the attempted kick.

The shinx whined and curled up on the ground, hoping they wouldn't see it.

Demetra apparetly had no concept of 'wasteful', having lived in a rich family. She threw yet another pokeball at it.

"I'm gonna name it Static!" Demetra said with a grin, putting the pokeball in her pocket and going to retrieve the empty ones.

"Well that sure is fitting!" Nero turned his head suddenly the thought of Jet re-infiltrating his conscience, He walks over to jet trying to think of how to explain but bends down grabbing a stick. He then begins to poke and prod at his allies rib cage, to see if there's any response. "Umm Jet?"
