The teapot on the stove started to whistle, and Frederick nodded. "I'm sure. You should get some sleep. We can talk some more after. You're welcome to stay here - I have a spare room. And I can make you some tea if you don't think you'll be able to." He retrieved the teapot.

Frederick handed her the cup and saucer. "The room is down here." He smiled gently and led her down the hall to a quaint, but plain room, with several potted plants residing inside.

"Alright." Lauren nodded. She stayed in the room and drank most of her tea, then set the cup aside and fell asleep in the bed. She didn't wake up until eleven at night.

Freddy was sitting in the main room reading when she came out. Hearing her, Frederick looked up and smiled. "Good morning, sleepy. Are you hungry?"
