Kenny spoke to her for a long while, and then gave her a friendly challenge to look for at least one person she could help every day, even if it didn't require going out of the way. "I can take you back to school, if you would like," he offered. He was anxious to speak to Hannah again.

Kenny checked his phone again, to be sure Hannah hadn't called, and slowly began the drive back home, wondering if he should visit the hospital again.

Kenny decided against it, since he really did have other things to do. She would call if she needed a ride, he was fairly sure. He headed back home and got right on it, keeping his phone on his desk and thinking about where else he could look.
