"Oh yeah, calzones..." Hannah didn't really want to move from where he held her, but resigned herself to it. "You're gonna have to let me go then." she said with a sigh.

Kenny smiled. "I know what you mean. I was fourteen when I got away, so I still had a while. All the same, I only realized that this is what I needed to do fairly recently. Until that, I was working for the government."

"The government?" She sounded surprised. "Just... even day to day life, ever since you rescued me, it's crazy." She smiled. "There are so many new and wonderful things, and I love it here. We're so far from that old world... I've just been taking it one day, one wonderful thing at a time and when you mentioned that I have control over the rest of my life... I feel like a dog that's been cooped up in a kennel all it's life who's been suddenly let loose into the a big friendly world. I don't know what to do, or how to do it and it's a little bit terrifying but I want more."
