Stephanie returned to her office. She had half an hour to try to temporarily get her brain back in politics mode for this stupid meeting.

Two days later, Kailen dressed in his best clothes and headed towards Stephanie's office after work. Was he supposed to meet her there? She'd said she'd pencil him in, so he supposed. She'd seemed awfully casual about it, too. He shook his head. Shops had hours and she was running for president. It was perfectly logical. Still, though. He entered there office just on time after the long walk.

Stephanie was just leaving her office when he appeared. She was wearing a white blouse and blue jeans, as well as a pair of blue and gold earrings and a necklace that matched. She smiled when she saw him. "Wonderful, you're right on time. Let's go!" She said cheerfully.

Stephanie nodded. "Good, then we're in agreement. Come on, then!" She led him to the main shopping district of the city and started going through clothing stores.

Kailen noted that most of the stores she dragged him through would probably get him mugged on the way home, but he didn't say anything. He mostly just let her do the shopping, since he knew nothing about nice clothes. He used to know a bit.

Stephanie seemed to be having great fun shopping, at least. She picked clothes out herself but always asked his opinion on how he thought he looked. She bought him several hundred dollars worth of clothes by the end, but they made him look much more professional and put together.
