Stephanie sighed. "I don't know. Right now I think I have too, I mean I'm so caught up in everything right now I can't even slow down, let alone stop. My parents would notice. "Sabotaging it?" That wouldn't be just avoiding the problem anymore... that was direct, aggressive defiance. Did she have the nerve to do that? Just the idea made her whole body tense.

"Right. Just a suggestion. Sorry. Just..." She tried to relax, but it was difficult. She cast a glance over her shoulder, irrationally afraid her fathers contacts would hear the conversation. Just that one, almost involuntary move gave away just how afraid of him she was, even though she tried her best to be strong and hide it.

"Hobbies? Oh sure. I go for walks outdoors a lot. I've learned to appreciate nature a lot more. I read as well, quite often when I have the time. Um..." She tried to think of other hobbies she'd learned to enjoy.
