Nikola frowned at her food, but didn't object. Litwick was happily floating up and down while the Azurill bounced on its tail.

"I can't believe I got stuck with you," She muttered to herself, watching the tiny, bouncing pokemon. "Still, best make the best of it I suppose." She recorded Azurill in her pokedex and then, after a moment, went back into the other room with a sigh to finish eating.

Nikola didn't speak for the rest of the meal. "We can leave in the morning." She went into the room with the Pokemon as soon as she was done.

That was fine with Demetra. She finished and washed up the plates before heading into the room herself. She wasn't going to let that annoying azurill bounce around all night.

By that time, Nikola had left the room to go to sleep. Violet was still there, occupying the tiny Azurill.

The litwick drifted through the wall again and didn't come back out. The next morning, Nikola was up unusually early.
