Time Travel - Fixing the Future

[Gifted]

Stephanie looked in her bag. "You know, if were serious about this, I should probably bring more clothes... different disguises, you know. So I can be multiple people. Different relationships often reveal different information."

[Raven]

"Alright, well I'm not any good at manipulating people, I'm sure, but I can play a role. We can both play pretend - then we won't have to get separated as often. We can drop by your hotel room before we go," Kailen suggested, dumping all his school stuff out of his bag. He kept his DS in it.

[Gifted]

"If Rick's half as good as he is today he'll be twice as good as I am, so it might not help. Mind you, he's in his fifties now, so unless he was some kind of child prodigy that's not likely. At any rate we should be very wary of him." Stephanie put all her school stuff on the floor, leaving her bag mostly empty.

[Raven]

"Well can it hurt?" Kailen asked, opening his closet. He mostly had band and video game T-shirts.

[Gifted]

"Actually yes. He could see right through you and know somethings up. At any rate, it's still a good idea." She looked over at his closet. "Oh, you probably shouldn't wear any brands, not unless your sure it existed twenty, thirty years ago. Saves awkward questions."

[Raven]

"Right," Kailen agreed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Is there anything else we should bring?" He wasn't actually sure what clothes he should bring.

[Gifted]

"I'm not actually sure, we're not going back too far so I wouldn't say food and drink or money will be an issue...." Stephanie mused. "We probably ought to study the history n detail so we don't sound like idiots, but there isn't really time, so I suppose we'll just have to hope for the best."

[Raven]

"Well... what about like, bandaids or something?" Kailen asked. Because obviously going into a gifted war, bandaids were exactly what they'd need. "Or, I don't know, anything we have here that we might not want to buy thirty years ago."

[Gifted]

"Oh yes, because band-aids are totally going to help us if we get shot. I do get your point though, medical supplies. That's probably a good idea."

[Raven]

"I think we have a few bandages in the bathroom," Kailen said. "It seems like we actually have an overabundance of medical supplies for some reason." Most of that reason being a paranoia nursed by Adam that something terrible may happen to his family at some point. "I can get some of those if you want to pack the clothes??" He smiled uncertainly and backed towards the door.

"Alright, I'll go though your things, we're going to have to go to my hotel room to get mine." She booted up his computer and started looking through his band shirts for any that had been around for a really, really long time.

[Raven]

Stephanie quickly discovered that most of his band shirts were rather worrying. He had three that were definitely old enough to have existed when they were traveling to, the others were much more questionable. The three in question were from bands called Apocalyptica, Hollywood Undead, and Seether.

All these teenage rocker band shirts. Sigh. "Your wardrobe sucks," She called over her shoulder. "I'm totally buying you more professional clothing soon as I get the chance."

[Raven]

"You sound like my mother," Kailen called back.

[Gifted]

"Yeah, well, people won't take you seriously if you look like a bloody... teenager." Stephanie laughed. "Seriously though, you being there in these clothes robs me of any credibility."
