"He's been good," Kenny agreed. "Like when we were kids..."

Roseanne smiled a bit. "So what have you been up too?"

[Raven]

"Well," Kenny said, glancing at Rakel. "We think we've found a way to get to God."

[Gifted]

Roseanne looked at him with a confused expression. "Wait, what?"

[Raven]

"There's a wall we need to knock down, but on the other side, I'm sure we'll find God and be able to take him on," Kenny said

[Gifted]

"You want to start up another fight?"
"It's not another fight, it's the same fight we've always been fighting." Rakel responded.
"But... why?"

[Raven]

"Because he ruined our lives, he'd make us leave here as soon as we were finally happy. If we don't finish this, he could mess with us all over again. Cassidy was destroyed by shadow creatures because he was mad, what happens next time?"

[Gifted]

"But he can't make us leave here anymore. I thought we'd already won."

[Raven]

"Because we overcame this one thing. There's nothing stopping him from throwing another challenge our way."

[Gifted]

"But can't we just get to that when we get there? Why does that mean we have to attack now?"

[Raven]

"Because the next time, we won't be prepared enough to stop him," Kenny said. "You might be able to relax with threats hanging over your head, but I can't."

[Gifted]

"But we have no proof it even is a threat! There's no reason to think we'll be attacked. We fought hard enough to change the laws of the universe last time, isn't that enough for you?"

[Raven]

"No," Kenny said. "Because unlike my brother, his type aren't that easy to get away from. That lesson cost my life, I'm not about to forget it."

[Gifted]

"We have no proof there'll even be another attack, Kenny, why are you so eager for more bloodshed?" Roseanne demanded.
