Lynn leaped to her feet, beginning to dance. "What did you do?" she demanded.
Ryan couldn't help but laugh.

Eric laughed with Ryan, though not in a mean-spirited way. He lowered his wand so that Lynn would stop, but the smile still remained on his face.
"That is called a jinx," he chuckled. Liz had somehow managed to hide her giggles behind her hand.

"Be a good sport, Lynn," Ryan said, grinning.

Eric blew on the end of his wand like a cowboy blowing the smoke from his pistol, twirled it in his fingers like a baton, and slipped it back into his pocket.
"And that is why you don't call me a mudblood," he smiled.

"Or what?" Eric asked with a laugh, "You'll beat me up? I'm so scared of a first year, oooh!" Even were Lynn a seventh year student, he would still make fun of her; he was more foolish than courageous.

Eric stuck his tongue out at the snippy Lynn, then smiled. He threw his arm around Liz and hugged her close, eliciting a whimper of embarrasment from his little sister.

Lynn glared and resolved to pout for the rest of the trip. She held Mao in her lap, slowly petting the cat.

Liz sighed at the entire situation in general, and cuddled up against Eric. She eventually fell asleep, leaning against his arm and pressing her feet against the wall of the compartment.

August moved Ngaio to her shoulder and walked over to to the compartment door and opened it for the twins "Sorry that took forever,"
