13 thought for a moment, mulling over Kitty's question. "... I think her name's Raven," said the young woman, glancing her sister's way.

"Sydney," I corrected, continuing up stream. I saw somebody up ahead... they looked friendly enough. "Hey!" I called, picking up my pace.

[Gifted]

"I'm inclined to say yes," I said honestly. "But you haven't even told me your name. How do I know you're not Alaric, or Danny?" I grinned.

[Sar]

"For me, a contract is signed with a handshake. My power at your hands with my completed contract," he straightened out his shirt and then stuck out his hand, waiting for her to complete it. "It may sting a bit but.. A contract is worth it, correct?"

[Sparrow]

I noticed Stephano looking in a direction.
"This way?" I ask, wanting to see if that was it.
Doubting I'll get a response I begin to turn, then I hear a voice from behind. I jump in shocked response, then turn around. They were far away, but I recognize one of them. At least I thought I did. I decide last second to wait for her to address herself. Figuring if I say Fox, and it wasn't her, they could play along.
"... Hello."

[FoxTrott]

Whoever it was jumped at my voice. I winced, not wanting to scare them. When they turned around, I couldn't help but think they looked familiar... then again, everybody I saw looked familiar. I was as terrible at remembering faces as I was at remembering names. The little reptile poking out looked familiar as well, like I was supposed to know it from somewhere.

"Hey... you!" I exclaimed, smiling like they were an old friend, "Um... what're you doing out in the middle of a forest?"

13's eyes narrowed at the new comer. Her hand moved to the hilt of her katana, gripping it lightly and keeping a steely gaze on the other.

[Sparrow]

I noticed that some of them had weapons.
Great... I think worriedly.
Not wanting to upset them I decide to answer.
"It was kinda weird really. I was at Walmart, then bam, here I am."
I pause for a moment.
"Why are ya'll here?"

[Gifted]

"A contract?" That word had so many negative connotations to me, it wasn't even funny. I hesitated. "What exactly would that entail?"

[FoxTrott]

Well, that was a helpful answer. I stuck my hands in my pocket, my glasses sliding slightly down my nose.

"To protect my creator!" 13 butted in before I could respond. I hesitated.

"I'm not sure, exactly," eventually came my reply, "if I knew, I would tell you, but I don't know, so... um... yeah."

[Sar]

"I have powers, I'm guessing a lot of people do," he put down his hand "I however can't use them without a contract with another. That should put you at ease, knowing what I get out of it. A contract would include a mental connection and a responocobility to protect you." he then put his hand out again "Is it a contract?"

[Sparrow]

"Your creator?" I ask a bit confused.
I think about it a moment, then figure since my ideas are roaming about and obviously others were too, that that tag made sense.
"That makes sense. ...Well. As much sense as this place does."
I glance around at the surroundings, knowing at least a few of the predators I'd thought up could be around.

[Gifted]

I resented neededing protecting, but I knew I did. But it seemed so... one-sided. "And how does it affect me?" I asked. A contract always had a catch. I didn't trust it.

[Raven]

Stephano cooed in Fox's general direction. "What is that in your shirt?" Kitty asked, frowning. The shape was all wrong to be a snake, and she had never seen another animal with scales at the Facility - well, besides Calder.

[FoxTrott]

"Like this place makes any sense," I snorted, glancing around. I still had no clue who this other person was, and I wasn't about to ask 13 in fear of her stabbing the person or something. Kitty's words drew my attention to the little lizard, and it was then that I was pretty sure I knew who it was.

"Ver!" I exclaimed, my eyes lighting up. I dashed over to the dragon and held my arms out. "Come here, cutie~"

[Sar]

'God she's persistent,' He thought to himself.

The main effect would be this

His mouth didn't move but he knew she could hear him loud and clear.

I suppose the purpose is for when we're fighting, which is a joint effort I must say, we'll be a step ahead because no one can hear us

"But the downside you seem to be looking for is our thoughts will be combined, so it may take a while to get used to, like a roommate I guess," He paused and said "And if it helps, I'm not doing this out of the goodness of my heart," 'I'm not even sure if I have one of those,' "In a fulfilled contract, you get my protection, I get my powers," For the third time he stuck out his hand "Do we have a contract?"

[Sparrow]

"Oh, are you the one who thought this one up?" I ask with a smile.
I decide to let Stephano, or Ver, go to her on his own.
