Drug Resistant

"So you're all like what? ... Robin Hood and his merry men, but modernized or something?" he asked not really sure whether or not he meant to sound sarcastic. He takes a quick glance around for caution.
"Exactly what are ya'll planing after dedrugging everyone?"

[Gifted]

"I...don't know. Dedrugging everyone is our primary goal, we don't really have anything planned beyond that... it doesn't even look like a real possibility yet, that's the problem. It's just... the other gifteds should not be controlled like this. They need to know th truth and be able to make they're own decisions. They shouldn't just be a bunch of government puppets." Heather said. "In an ideal world, I'd want to organize a revolt afterward.... but since when to the boys ever care what I've got to say?" She muttered the last part, speaking more to herself than to Quent

[Sparrow]

"So the basic idea is this. One, dedrug everyone. Then two, organize a revolt while hiding out and trying to keep everyone alive the forest?" The plan didn't sound at all 'realistic' in terms of any kind in his opinion.
"It sounds like you need to think of a better plan..."
After a second he added,
"And sure, hiding out was an everyday thing back then. But keeping a colony alive, especially a city sized one, is no small feat."
He was seriously doubting the efficiency of this ...resistance, but was thinking it was better then happyzombiefunland nonetheless.

"Again, we don't actually have a plan for afterwards, that's just what I would do. and you'd be surprised. Most of these people aren't going to want to leave the city, and if we can get the majority of the people off the drug, some resistance members may move back into town so they've got easier access to the few people who are still drugged by then. With that setup, we could fairly easily organize a revolt against the faction of the government running this town, overtake it ad run the town how it should be run. Harder things have been pulled off in times of war. and knowing people like Zane, if he agrees with me at all he'll think bigger than even I am," Heather was momentarily distracted, thinking about Zane. The kid was only 11, she doubted it was healthy for him to be so... serious. Talk about having your childhoo taken from you.
Of course, she was only 14, so she probably shouldn't talk.
"We'll cross that bridge when we get there. at the moment we're more worried about nopt getting caught while trying to save the other gifteds. We're spotted enough that rumours get around," Heather sighed.

[Sparrow]

"So... Hide out in a government issued city?" he sighed and shrugged.
"Not really what I would call a good plan. But... it beats out my ideas."

[Gifted]

"Well, we'd still just be a bunch of Gifteds in a gifted city. As long as nobody's stupid about it, it's not like we'd attract any attention..."

[Sparrow]

“I’m sure there are spies around. Knowing how they like to keep an eye on things.”
He glanced up and down the street. The possibility of this girl being a spy was there, but for whatever reason he doubted it.
“In fact... I’d be more surprised to never run into a spy, then I would to actually see one.”

[Gifted]

"Oh I'm sure there are too. But we haven't run into any yet, and we're usually more careful thanI'm being with you right now. Show up periodically over the course of a few days and become friends with the person so they won't turn us in, then explain what's really going on in little bits. We've always got an escape route planned if something goes wrong. It's a long procedure," Heather smirked.

[Sparrow]

“So you just threw protocol to the wind to chat with me? Why, did that whole Hitler abducting an angel thing throw off you train of thought?”
He looked at the building rooftops above to ensure no one was spying.

[Gifted]

"not at all," Heather laughed. "I see that kind of thing alot. Honestly, the guy's probably abducting her to have sex with her or something, that seems to usually be the case at these parties." She rolled her eyes. "No I was justshocked by your behavior, the fact that you aren't happy-go-lucky like the rest of them. Protocol is so long because we've got to earn enough trust to be listened to when we tell people to stop taking their meds. But your very clearly already not taking your meds."

[Sparrow]

“That makes sense I suppose.”
He places a hand at the back of his head and continues to look up at the buildings roof tops.
“Yeah, ... I don’t like to take it for that reason. I don’t want to be happy.”
He sighs slightly looking back down then up the street.
“I have no reason too.”

[Gifted]

"You don't want to be happy? Why not?" Heather said, confused. Everyone wanted to be happy. She just didn't want fake happiness at the hands of some government drug.

[Sparrow]

“Like I said. ...I have no reason too.”
After a few seconds of pausing to decide how much he wanted to tell, he continued.
“The only thing that ever really mattered in my life is gone. When I take that drug, it blocks that memory."

[Gifted]

"I've heard that from some other people, that the drug blocks painful memories." Heather nodded. "Thats awful, I'm sorry. I suppose I should be grateful the person I love is even still alive," She sighed. "Though considering the state he's in, it's not much good for either of us."

[Sparrow]

"If you keep at it he'll more then likely come around eventually."
He looked back at the building the party was in to ensure no other characters were exiting by way of window.
"I'm assuming he's on the drug."
