"Well, you can let her starve, or you can be shot and let her starve. I'd think your chances of finding food somewhere else would be better." She lowered her voice even farther; Matt had no chance of hearing. "I'll let you know when she falls asleep. I don't like letting kids starve either, and I really don't like her." She nodded to him. She had also noticed that anyone over 15 years old had disappeared. She turned fifteen in about a week.

Matt looked up and said "Maybe you would like me to explain this all to you and you'd like to help?" Matt wasn't trying to be the bad guy and the boy had been in the wrong because he did come after to attack her.

After years of her mothers training she went to work and her instinct just seemed to take over. She cut the pants and threw the leg at the boy who brought him in. "Clean this in the sink," and she looked up begging "Please don't wake the children," she then went back to work.

Matt looked and said "I don't know how much you know but all adults and older teen have seemed to.." she took a moment to think into the word "Poofed. Well after I had an..interesting childhood, I had to take care of something." she paused and said "If I let anyone in the first night all the food will be gone or wasted in a matter of days and with no idea when things will return to normal, we could.." she to a breath and said "starve,"

Neil could tell he wasn't among the friendliest company. "Rations? There's no way some kids could ration out a grocery store to God knows how many other kids," Neil said, frowning, "Everyone for his or herself, just the way nature intended. Let them starve, once the stupid ones die the rest can start a somewhat functioning society." He adjusted his cowboy hat. "No need to accelerate the process by shooting some poor idiot."

"Then you'd be smart enough to realize we now own a farm, which could potentially feed the entire town and the surrounding area," Neil replied, frowning, "Or, you'd be nice enough to give us some food. I'm not here to argue about what's right and wrong, I just need some supplies."

Matt then said to Neil, her statements no longer aimed at Aura, "Rationing will start when someone comes in power and if you really need food that much go look through a house. She then looked at Aura and said " i have something to talk to you about, it would help the survival rate, would you wanna help?"

"I don't need food," scoffed Neil, "I need batteries, matches, that kind of important stuff. You really think we're stupid enough not to have a 72 hour kit for emergencies? Though, would you be kind enough to take down this wall of whatever it is and let me through?" Under his breath, "God, they act like I'm some sort of terrorist."

Neil sighed, and gripped the space between his eyebrows in frustration. "If I helped you with whatever it is you're planning, could I get through? I've plenty of things to add to any cause..." He looked up at Rocky, who shook his head. "Not to mention the fastest transportation since cars are kind of out of the quesiton."
