James gave Pikachu a look that obviously meant to calm down. Pikachu rolled his eyes as best a Pokemon could, and leaped off James' shoulder. "You're really just in time," James said, trying to ease Zelph's nerves.
Meanwhile, Pikachu wasn't doing anything helpful. Its cheeks sparked with electricity as it glared up at Gardevoir.

Feeling oddly awkward now, and completely ignorant to his Gardevoir, Zelph returned his Gardevoir back to her Pokeball and placed the ball back on his belt. Since awkward scenes like these were a common occurrence for Zelph, Zelph just waved to his Porygon-Z, and it began scanning for a corner for him to wait in until the tournament began.

“Rill!” Marill says surprised after being tackled by the Eevee.
Having been interrupted it jumps up pushing the Eevee off with his tail. He turns to Flaaffy,
“Rill-Mar-rill.” he replies, as if saying, sure why not?
He peers back to his owner for assurance, she nods – giving the go ahead.
Seeming uncomfortable, Marill turns back to the two pokemon, flicking his tail ready to play along.

Eevee shakes her pelt and turns from themm to sneak up on an unsuspecting Pixel.

Ryuk looked at the newer newcomer and sighs," Really now...do people have no sense of arriving early? If either of you were just a few hours late because of something happening you wouldn't be able to participate... Oh well Perhaps you'll be interesting to fight in the tournament." Raven covered her mouth with her wing and cawed in a mocking and laughter like manner at Zelph.

Matriarch doesn’t look directly to the new comers at first. Being unsure if either are familiar with Team Rocket. After a moment she risks a glance at them and their pokemon, then returns her attention back to Marill. After a minute she peeps down to her pokebelt, considering letting one or two of the others out to get some fresh air.

After finding a dark corner to dry off in, Zedek sat down and began summoning his Pokemon one by one to roam free.

Furret [F] (Keen eye & Run away) Protect, Mimic, Fury cutter, Dynamicpunch
Castform [F] (Forecast) Weather ball, Blizzard, Toxic, Shock wave.
Spinda [M] (Own Tempo) Hypnosis, Dizzy punch, Faint attack, Facade.
Banette: [M] (Insomnia) Screech, Shadow ball, Icy wind, Psychic
Mawile [F] (Hyper cutter & Intimidate) Fake tears, Vicegrip, Attract, Sing.
Marill [M] (Thick fat & Huge power) Hydro pump, Body slam, Iron tail, Secret power.
Matriarch contemplates for a moment then decides this is a good time for her pokemon to study the others. She takes four pokeballs from her belt and releases their contents one at a time. Marill peeps back for a moment.
Out of the first pokeball pops a Spinda. It sways side to side almost falling over each time, its appearance of swirly eyes seem to show its dizziness.
It looks around and stumbles about while making gleeful sounds.
Next comes a furret, she quickly scampers under and over almost everything looking and investigating everything and everyone.
After that comes a strange floating water drop. It hovers around the room while repeating,
“Castform” every so often.
Then comes a pokemon closely resembling a small porcelain doll with a black leaf twice its size sprouting from its head. She looks around at the other pokemon and smiles
“Ma-wile.” It says sitting down and looking to the ceiling.
Matriarch doesn’t release the last pokemon on her belt, knowing what it was capable of.

Teale studied the others in silence, a bit irritated that the newcomer was here. She'd somewhat known the pokemon the others had and had no idea if this guy was even any good.
Subddenly, Haylee came running over. "Chiko chiko chiko chiko chiko!" She jabbered.
"Okay okay, I'm sorry!" Teale laughed, picking Haylee up off the ground. Haylee swatted Teale in the face with the leaf on her head and Teale laughed.

Eevee and Pixel scampered around, meeting all the pokemon. Gabby and Gale watched.

Zelph's Pokemon began spontaneously exploding, and it became apparent that Zelph was a terrorist.
Zelph's Porygon-Z scanned each of the other trainer's pokemon and began planning for battle. On the other hand, Gardevoir and Scizor began greeting the other Pokemon gleefully.

"Gaal-ade," Gale fawned over Gardevoir. Gabriella didn't let the rest of her pokemon out.
Pixel and Eevee circled scizor, gardevoir, and polygon-z in turn, the last on the ground beneath it.
