Lizzie nodded. "Yeah. I'll deal with it. I'll just say he's Chou's boyfriend." She smirked. "And that we're planning something for her birthday. Hopefully, they don't remember her birthday is during the cherry blossom festival." It was autumn, the total opposite time of year as her friend Chou's birthday.

"I'm still here!" Kage exclaimed, feeling like they forgot he was listening, "Do you really think I'll run off and say, hey, that guy has an alive hat and the girl has a blob of soot?"
"Yes," Punimon replied.
"What are you guys waiting for anyway?" asked Kage, "Wherever it is, my parents expect me home by sundown, so can we get back before then?"
"How come you're so willing to just run off with a couple of strangers?" Punimon gave Kage a critical look. The boy shrugged.
"They seem trustworthy."
"Trustworthy my slimy butt."
