Lost in the Mind... My Mind...

Tristan sighed. "Uh... Everyone has parents. One boy and one girl... And er..." Luke laughed overhearing their conversation. "Tristan finds that explanation either difficult or awkward to tell," he told Cathy. "A daughter is a female child, a son is a male. Male is another word for boy and female is girl. They're born from their parents, females actually give birth. Other than that I'm not sure how to explain," he said.

[Rachel]

"Boy and girl? I do not understand..." Cathy said slowly, uncomprehending. "Would you please explain to me what a boy is and what a girl is?" She frowned again and looked as if she were concentrating very hard.

[Dokeshi]

Hatter looked around, obviously not caring who was in his presence, he started to nod off and then opened his eyes quickly, if he fell asleep he'd turn back into that maniac...

[Raven]

Luke sighed. "I'm a boy, you're a girl. Trisha is also a girl and Jack is a little boy," he explained.
"I'm sure you're all getting tired," Lynn said. "Rooms will be provided and you can stay as long as you wish."

[Rachel]

"I thought Jack was a little Trisha, not a little 'boy'," Cathy mumbled but nodded. "What is the difference?" She then yawned and nodded again. "Tired..."

[Raven]

Luke rolled his eyes. "I believe she was trying to say he was a little person," Tristan said, then glanced at Luke for help. He didn't want to explain any of this. Luke smirked. "Girls can have babies, boys can't," he said simply.

[Rachel]

"Oh... okay!" Cathy said, smiling absently. "Babies are small Trishas. Or small people... But... why?"

[Raven]

Luke shrugged. "That's just how it is," he replied. Then he whispered to Tristan, "You're too desperate."

[Rachel]

"Oh... okay!" Cathy repeated, nodding. "Is everything a half-person because 'that's just how it is'? I think I understand!" She was grinning now.

[Gifted]

Trisha fought, successfully, the urge to burst out laughing at Tristans and Lukes attempts to reason with the phsycho. Instead she shot a questioning look at Luke, wondering if they could continue moving

[Raven]

Luke sighed. "Let's go, then. Tristan, you can show her to her room," he said, making it clear he was talking about Cathy. Zach snorted, sending a servant to show the Hatter to his room. Luke gestured for Trisha to follow him and headed up a staircase. The royal family also left, as did Zach. The servant bowed to the Hatter and headed down a hallway, different from the one Luke had taken. Tristan glanced at Cathy. "Ready?" he asked.

Hatter nodded and silently followed the servant to his room, his eyes closing slightly.

Trisha, glad they were finally seperating from the phsycho, sighed.m "Geez, what a nutjob," she muttered, obviously talking about Cathy. "If I diddn't care about being subjected to a million akward questions I might have to smack her one," she sighed. Jack laughed.

[Raven]

"Well, at least you would have a reason not to answer. She believes you're mute," Luke said with a laugh. "Although I agree. I have met a lot of crazies, but she is by far the worst. I never thought I'd meet someone worse than Adam's twin, but she is, in a way. I suppose in some ways, he is worse, though." Luke grimaced.

The servant opened a door to a room and bowed again, before leaving.

[Rachel]

Cathy nodded and followed behind Tristan like an obedient little puppy.
