-Area 57-

[Jay]

"Thank you." she smirked throwing a flashlight into Drakaron's hands, and shifting. She stayed next to the fashlight.

[fugama]

"Well, let's go" He began his strive for the clearing ahead

[Jay]

Kiana maintained her position, keeping the light angled on her. She sighed. "It's not at all close, if you were wondering." she saw a rather large log on the path, blocking the way, and placing a hand on it, she swung herself cleanly over.

[Doom]

"Well, perhaps I should explain a little." Steven began, his tone going from tense to relaxed as they sped past the national border. "You already know most of what I know. Perhaps a little more, even. All the same, I'll still bring you up to speed. We are currently en route to a location that doesn't exist. The main facility of Project: Rebirth, Area 57. Only one person was to know about it with certainty that wasn't involved. That man was the president. However, you and I came upon it anyway. I have a twin brother that died serving in the C.I.A. I resigned from the F.B.I. after the feds refused to tell me where his body had gone. A close friend of mine was chosen to work in Area 57 because of his post-death expertise on human beings. He was killed shortly after he told me about the secret facility. To avenge his death, I'm bringing agony and misery to everyone in Area 57, and ending the whole outfit by exposing the facility to the American media. I have more than a few reasons for wanting the feds caught with their pants down, but I'm missing a few crucial details. That's where you spill the beans, kid." Freddy's face was blank, letting everything sink in. He cleared his throat, still bewildered, and began, "You've just spelled out everything I've spent almost 5 years piecing together, except for...." He paused, then tapped his chin, unsure of what he was forgetting, then said, "You've never seen anything of what the facility looks like or its surroundings, have you? I for one just so happen to have a map created using statistics of where Area 57 is located. At that, I have semi-accurate maps of the security grids and interior structure. All of it is stored away on my PDA." He pulled out his PDA, and looked through it for a moment, then held it to the perplexed Steven, showing an exact pinpointed location of where the facility was. "I hope your prepared for blizzards and wild animal attacks alike, because this is the most isolated and barren mountain range in the state." Tarren nodded, and turned his attention back to the road, only to slam the brakes just before a collision with a moose standing stubbornly on the road. He honked a few times, and the moose ran off. "Excellent. You and I are going to rip the deceptive cloak right off this underground project." He concluded as he slammed on the gas once more.

[Sparrow]

Douglas follows after glancing back once more.
"So, any idea on time?" he asks, taking a minute to get over the log, then stumbles off but luckly catches himself and continues following.

[Jay]

"Well, I'm not the sleeping type, so I say, it doesn't matter. If you're tired, go to sleep. Just, do me a favor and wake up in the morning, will you?" Kiana smirked, pushing herself forward. She couldn't see the clearing, but she decided to keep going until she did, then perhaps let the scientist she thought frajile to have a rest.

[Doom]

"So, this van, from the inside out, is wired with gadgetry and weapons for tackling zombies?" Freddy asked, his fear of being kidnapped gradually turning to intrigue in his new mission. "Not just zombies. I've prepared for just about everything imaginable, and one or two things unimaginable. We'll be safe and sound in here. That is, until we hit the areas surrounding the facility. They're void of roads, and are thickly overgrown. Navigating them on foot is our only option." Freddy cringed, and asked, "You... Are prepared for combating undead fiends and top notch security guards outside your vehicle, right?" Steven chuckled, and said, "Fighting a man, living or dead, isn't as complicated as you think. Sure, the fancy firearms and night vision goggles may give some advantages, but in the end, mono a mono comes down to two things. Moxy, and speed. Nothing else matters." He turned his eye back to the road, and looked once more at the GPS mounted on the dashboard. "Seems we turn....Here!" He took a hard left, into the thick snow drift. They were certainly headed in the right direction, but preparation for the worst a human could put up against them was foolish. They were facing men and women with unreal superhuman abilities.

[Sparrow]

Douglas follows silently, keeping an ear out for anything that may be nearby. He could of swore he heard something in the bushes a while back.

Jack stays nested and hiding high up in a pine. Watching the world below, and waiting for anything to pass by under the tree. After a while he sets up a fine web that lays across the ground under the tree, trigger lines lead up to where he waits.

[Jay]

Kiana remained oblivious to any noises, finally reaching the clearing. She noticed Douglas' behavior. "Is something wrong?" she cocked her head.

[Sparrow]

Douglas is distracted for a moment when he thinks he sees movement in the bushes a ways back.
"Huh?" he looks back ahead to Kiana.
"Oh, just thought I heard something." he says sounding unsure of himself.
"Probably a rabbit."

[Jay]

"A rabbit?" she rolled her eyes "Okay." Kiana started to gather firewood. "Unless somebody's stalking us. But, I think I can deal with."

[Sparrow]

A small muffled sound is heard in the bush in front of her as soon as the sentence is finished. A small bear cub is pressed against the bush's stock, backed into a corner. A much louder grunt is heard from behind. Douglas turns and stutters some thing incoherent.
A large mother Kodiak bear claws angrily at the ground, only about twenty feet from the group now between her and her cub.

[fugama]

Drakaron quickly fell into the ground as a shadow, then moved under the bear. as he came out of the ground, he and his shadow split, the force caused them to be launched upward in a devastating uppercut to the bear "DAMN IT THIS DAY SUCKS!"

[Jay]

Kiana's eyes widened, her diamond form flickered, showing her fear. She got up, yelling at Drakaron. "ARE YOU FREAKING INSANE?!" she ran at the bear, swallowing hard.

[Sparrow]

The bear rears back on its hind legs after taking the first hit. It towers over all of them. The bear now enraged roars, then swats a paw at Kiana once she draws closer. The bear cub shivers under the bush.
Douglas tries to figure out anything he can do to help.
