"So, explain to me why you were gravedigging, boy." The warden demanded. The police station smelled of cheap coffee and cigarettes, only aggravating Freddy's foul impatience. He had found a casket, as he expected, with a wax mannequin within. Whatever had killed Kiana, or whoever, for that matter, had been quite deliberate. There was no fluke accident, and he had to get to the bottom of Kiana's death. His racing mind was frazzled by a sharp thunk on the head. He looked up, and answered slowly, "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me." The warden sighed deeply, and asked, "Do you realize there is no worse disrespect than to defile a grave, sir?" Freddy frowned, and replied, "Well, I would feel ashamed if it weren't for the fact that I wasn't the first to defile the grave. You see, that wasn't Kiana Evan's actual body. It was only a top notch replica. I was simply investigating her real cause of death. You determined a heart attack with your mediocre forensics, I assume? I highly doubt it. Kiana died not by mistake, as you believe, but of murder. That's right! I figured out something you overlooked! Who's the real detective here?!" Freddy's voice was booming over the whole room now, and he was silenced by a stranger in a trench coat that approached him and answered, "I am. And I'm impressed with your observations. My team has just confirmed everything he said is true. Let him go, warden. He's earned a night on the down for the first step on a heated case." Both Freddy and the Warden looked stunned, but the Warden shrugged and told Freddy, "I guess you're free to go." Freddy stood behind the supposed detective, unsure if he should be worried or grateful. He sat in the front seat of the black van, almost invisible in the night. "So, I hear your into conspiracies." The detective said as he got in beside him. Freddy could only reply, "Umm, yeah. I am." The detective pulled out his wallet and flipped it open, revealing an FBI agent's badge. "I know you, so perhaps you should know me. Name's Agent Steven Tarren, or Ex-agent, at least. We're gonna take a little drive. To Alaska." He slammed down hard on his gas, and Freddy's shock collided with his sudden motion sickness, giving him a sensation between fear and thrill. It was a long way to Alaska by car from Michigan, that was for sure.

She cocked her head. "Escaping?" this pissed her off instantly. She knew he had been lying to her, and had done what she usually did, for her. She had obviously recovered. "Yes." she said curtly, not calling him out on the lie. She stood up. "Well, hope you get out safely." she said slowly. "I could help."

Freddy could only watch the highway flash by as he sat, strapped to his chair by a locked seat belt. He looked at the floor, and began to whisper to himself in the fictious language Hylian, "Farore, almighty Goddess of Courage, I ask of thee to smite down this mysterious assailant that I may return home in safety." The pale faced ex-agent looked over him with a puzzled expression, and interrupted him, saying, "I'm fluent in eight different languages, and I've never heard that one before. What is it? Swahili? Bohemian?" Freddy's attention snapped to Steven, and he stuttered, "Uh, it's, uh, a supposed interpretation of what ancient Norse would sound like." Agent Tarren looked completely convinced, for he simply asked, "Is that so?" And continued watching the road speed by. "So, a bit of a linguist, are you? Conspirator, linguist, and physicist, I'm guessing. Real accomplished, aren't you?" He asked, smug with sarcasm. Freddy shook his head, and asked, "Why did you kidnap me? Why are you taking me to Alaska?" Steven only chuckled, and sighed. "I'll explain everything when we get into Canada. Don't want the U.S. Feds to catch what I'm saying to you."

Douglas takes a few steps back, not knowing if he could fully trust her yet. "Thanks. Uh, how could you help us?"
Jack watches the group from several hundred yards away. They weren't good targets, not together at least. He turns a glance to the forest that continues mile upon mile behind him, then without a second thought on the matter, continues through the tree tops in that direction.

Kiana grimaced. "And if I told you?" she glared at him "Let's just say I'd be out of a job. " she stopped, letting herself go into diamond form. "I don't tell on you, if you don't tell on me." she smirked, wagging a finger

Douglas was surprised at this twist. So a patient had be masquerading as an employee? Ha, security was a joke then. "What reason would I have to tell on you?" He tilts his head to his question.

Kiana smirked. "Well, I guess we've come to an agreement?" she sat down. "At least I've got yet another gifted to help."

"That's Always good I suppose" Drakaron gave a slight grin to the situation, "We still need to get a camp put together though."

Kiana frowned. "A camp isn't really safe, you know. Especially with a fire. What are you trying to do? Smoke signal them? We don't need anybody to know we're here." she said curtly, shifting back into human form.

Kiana smirked. "Not mine." then stopped "So, we should go farther if you absolutely must have a fire."

"I think it was Sir's idea, not sure though." He nods, "Well the further away the better." To bad he didn't know that wet branches above the fire would absorb smoke. -at lest that's what the 'survive the zombie apocalypse guy' said. Well cardboard works at least. XD-

(( XD )) Kiana looked farther "I think there's a clearing over there..." she pointed, obviously indicating a far distance. "About a mile, two?" she said slowly. "I've things in my bag... I think a flashlight, which can be doubled if I shift diamond." she finished.

"Yep." Douglas says simply. He glances around, feeling like something is off, like they were being watched. He shrugs it off.
