Pokemon - Span the Globe!

"Alright! Hit it with Force Palm!" Miles shouted as Miracle jumped over a sweeping Low Kick. Miracle landed, and charged at the Bonsly, knocking it down with a square strike. Bonsly had been defeated, and the opponent trainer had been defeated. He sighed, and walked over to Miles. He shook hands, and handed over a sizable 1000 Poke(Money.) "I'm impressed. A trainer like you has the right makings." He turned away and scooped up his exhausted Bonsly. Waving as he departed, he exclaimed, "Good battle!" Miles shouted back, "You too!" And crouched down to Miracle. "Nice work, little buddy! I bet you've earned a little something." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a Rare Candy. Miracle's worn out look vanished and was replaced by elation. He jumped excitedly as Miles unwrapped the treat and handed it over. Miracle swallowed it whole and shivered a little, then crouched down. "Huh?" Miles stood up, perplexed. In that moment, Miracle began to glow brightly and grow. Miles jumped back and gasped, watching Miracle evolve. After a few seconds, Miracle stood once more, taller, stronger, and overjoyed. Miles jumped forward, embracing his new Lucario. "Amazing!" He exclaimed. "Let's walk back into Sunnyshore together, pal." Miracle nodded, and began walking after Miles released him. After a short walk, they came upon something unexpected. Miles spotted tire tracks on the sand outside town. He looked them over, then broke into a run, eager to find out who would drive a van into Sunnyshore. As he entered the city, he spotted something unexpected. The camera van for Pokemon Now had arrived in Sunnyshore. He stopped for a moment, unsure if he should approach the van. He had always been camera shy, but today he felt bold and confident. He ran, with Miracle keeping pace beside him. He arrived at the van, standing proudly. "Hello, Pokemon Now!"

[Dokeshi]

Ethan slowly stalked up, standing right behind Miles as he spoke,"Why, Hello there Mister Miles, Long time no see hmmmmmmm?" He grinned, the hoodie covering his eyes.

[Doom]

Miles heart stopped, and he bolted away, screaming, "Get away! Get away! Get away! Get away!" He ran to the Pokemon Center, hoping he could hide there. Even if his reaction was a little impolite, he didn't care. He had just about jumped out of his skin, and was running like his life depended on it.

[Dokeshi]

Ethan covered his mouth with an oversized sleeved hand and giggled, quietly walking over him, humming a tune, one that could easily be associated with Lavender town of the Kanto region.

[Doom]

Miles ran inside the Pokemon Center, and ducked behind a tall potted plant. The nurse running the counter looked over at him, puzzled. Miles whispered up to her, "Pretend I'm not here!" The nurse blinked a few times, then shrugged and looked at the door, obviously expecting someone to enter who was following this stranger.

[Dokeshi]

Ethan casually strolled in, smiling at the Nurse," Afternoon madame joy, no need to worry I know he's in here no need to lie to me." He scanned the room, standing my the entrance so Miles couldn't escape.

[Doom]

Miracle had been left behind in Miles's mad dash, but had been ignored by Ethan. Now, he was trailing behind, and he found Ethan standing in the doorway to the Pokemon Center. He walked proudly up to him and furiously tapped his shoulder. Miles could see him, but didn't dare shout at him to stop.

[Dokeshi]

"Hmmmm? and who might you be?" Ethan tilted his head back to look at the Lucario. "You seem...familiar somehow."

[Doom]

Miracle drew back into a fighting stance, a mocking laugh punctuating his bold challenge. Miles flew to the door, slipping past the distracted Ethan, and hooking his hand around Miracle's paw. He gave a hard tug, but Miracle wouldn't budge. He pushed Miles away, and looked away from Ethan to him, giving a quick wink. Miracle was challenging Ethan to a battle Miles didn't want to fight.

[Dokeshi]

Ethan giggled," Well I think I understand now, hello Miracle, It seems you want to have a Pokemon battle." A Purple and black poke ball fell out of his sleeve, and out came a frog like creature, a Toxicroak. "Hemlock, time for a sparring session."

[Doom]

Miles grabbed Miracle around the shoulders now, pulling hard, but Miracle insisted this fight. After a few sharp pulls, he let go, and sighed deeply, saying, "He isn't going easy on you. But, if you must, I'll help you in this battle." He stepped back a few steps. He swallowed hard, then muttered, "Alright, Ethan, I guess I've just challenged you to a Pokemon battle right here." Miracle crouched, with one paw on the ground, the other raised, ready to strike.

[Dokeshi]

Hemlock smirked and lazily pulled both of his arms behind him, gently scratching his elongated middle claw into the ground. "SO it seems mister Miles, I suppose you, get the first attack hmm? Hemlock you know what to do yes?" The Toxicroak nodded and smiled at his opponent.

[Doom]

Miles quivered for a moment, then mustered all his courage and shouted, "Attack with Bone Rush!" Miracle leaped forward, a weapon of sorts manifesting in his hands. Miracle swung overhead, giving all his might into the initial attack.

[Dokeshi]

"Cross chop" Hemlock Nodded, swinging both of his arms forward and diagonal in an x shaped pattern towards the advancing Lucario, the only other movement he made was bringing his right foot back a bit.

[Doom]

Miracle was hit squarely with the attack. Barely still standing, he proceeded with his attack, striking Hemlock four times. Even if Bone Rush was super effective against a Toxicroak, Miracle did little more than scratch Hemlock a little. He was disheartened, and Miles could only choke out, "H-hit him with Force Palm..."
