Hale awoke from a nap under a tree. He looked around. The tall grass russled slightly with the wind. Clouds overhead litfully floated by. He smiled, and giggled slightly. He felt something heavy on this cap. After feeling of what it was, he leans back on the tree. Such a relaxing spot, even Nidoran fell a sleep. Hale checked the time on his pokeGear. It read 15:12, 3:12. "We're late!" he yelled, startling his Nidoran. Hale pulls his bike from his pack, unfolds it, and puts Nidoran into the backet. "We can't miss this episode of 'Pokemon Now!'" "We need to get to Jubilife City now!" He yelled, and sped off, leaving a trail of dust.

Jamie sat down on the bench at Jubilife city, she frowned. Where was it? She shrugged, petting her Rattata. She had to have patience. So, she waited... possibly for somebody to talkto her, she didn't know. Waiting usually made everything better. So, she did.

Miles stared with intense focus at the calm and gentle tide. This is the place, the exact spot he was standing in, that he had dreamed of. He had been summoned to this tranquil shoreline for some reason. He concentrated and waited for so long, then dropped onto his back, flustered and confused. He took the mysterious Pokemon egg he had found here out of his pack. "This egg... Why was it buried here in the sand? It shows not a single indication of a water pokemon, yet it seemed to be placed there purposely." He frowned, then sat up and continued to stare at the shore. "Someone, or even something, has a reason for constantly drawing me to this spot... But why?" He gently placed the egg without parents into his lap. "Why..."

Riding high speed through the streets of Jubilife City, Hale nearly hit two people. Then he drove into a rock and flew off of his bike. He did a frontflip, and landed on the ground in front of a bench with someone in it. Nidoran landed on top of Hale. After realizing it's awesome flip and landing, stoop triumphantly on Hale and barked. "Nido, shut up.." he said.

((XD)) Jamie hesitated at what to do... after about ten seconds, she decided she should jump up and scream, so she did so, though it looked quite fake.

A beautiful land so far away. The sea lapped ferociously at the shore, and a mighty deity rose from the waters. It whispered "You shall find your destiny beyond the seas..." "Miles? Miles!" He could hear someone shouting his name, but he heard it as if underwater. Then he could feel himself shaking and thrashing. "What the? Where am I?" he sputtered in his daze. "Oh, you just fell asleep on the shore again, silly." This time he clearly recognized the voice, a woman standing over him. It was his aunt, Margaret. "Oh. Why did you wake me? I was having the strangest, yet most comforting, dream I have ever had." She answered him, "Well, I'm sorry to pull you out of your vacation in dream land, but you need to get your chores, before it gets too dark!" Miles peered at the waning sun. "Great, two hours before dusk, and you say I only have that long to finish my chores..." He mumbled to himself. Only then did he notice the egg he had been sheltering had disappeared. Trying to conceal his panic, he casually scanned the beach around him. He jumped up, and slowly trudged back to his home. What could have happened? Did it get caught by the tides while I was out? "Wait." His Aunt said. "I think you may have forgotten something." From behind her back, she revealed she had been hiding the Pokemon egg. He rushed back to the egg, and snatched it into his arms. "Why would you play such a cruel joke on.... I mean, where'd you find this?" He questioned. Margaret chuckled. "I've known about that little egg for as long as you have. Now, get to work and keep that egg safe and sound." Miles grinned, and dashed off. Lilycove was really beautiful, he observed, especially when you felt you were truly the one benevolence a poor little thing like this had.

Hale looked up and saw the girl 'freaking' out infront of him. "You know, I can tell your faking it. Anyway, sorry for... landing in front of you." he said. "Let me make it up to you, why not come on set to the Pokemon travel show, 'Pokemon Now!" "We were planning on heading off around Shinno, intervewing people along the way, you could help out." he asked.

Jamie cocked her head sideways. This was strange. Waiting usually paid off, but not in this way. She pursed her lips and shrugged "I guess..." was her only reply.

"Great, we were short a person, but now we can fill the quota!" exclaimed Hale. He lead her to the Jubilife T.V. Station where a van and another person with a camera greeted them.

Jamie glanced around slowly. This was happening too fast for her. Slow, steady, and a forever wait for things to happen was what she was used to. Until this guy shows up and changes her logics and what she is used to. What right did he have to do that? She frowned in this thought, keeping her Rattata close.

Miles fell back, exhausted, onto his bed. A job well done was it's own reward in a parent's mind, but Miles learned differently from his Aunt. If work had to be done, then someone had to do it, and his room was his responsibility. Fortunately, his obsession with cleanliness and order kept him working and motivated. He sighed, pleased with himself. He turned over, only to spy a little Spinarak climbing up the wall. His eyes widened, but he quickly regained his calm. He rushed to the window, slowly opened it, and waited for the little Pokemon to inch toward it. Sure enough, it skittered upward and out the window. He released a breath he had been holding and closed the window, locking it out of habit. He shuffled over to his desk, too rattled to relax. He sat, and began to examine the little egg wrapped snugly in his novelty scarf. He placed a gentle hand on it, and then jumped out of his chair when it responded to his contact by jolting and thrashing. The egg is hatching! He thought. I have to do something! Miles snatched up the egg and sprinted to the Pokemon Center, unsure of what he should do. In his mad dash, however, he tripped over a large rock concealed in his blind spot. In the instance he began to fall forward, he spun around, landing solidly on his back. The egg lay intact, wrapped in his arms, on his chest, steadily cracking and bulging. He got up, but didn't continue running, but simply sat the egg down and watched it, too scared to think. The egg was jolting and rattling, the lively little pokemon inside eager to escape. His jaw dropped and his thoughts in disarray, Miles wasn't prepared in the slightest. But all was calm and still in his mind when the final hop and crack produced a magnificent newborn Riolu. Exhausted from it's magnificent escape from the egg, it proceeded to fall asleep in Miles's lap. Miles, stunned by the infant's action, tensed. Yet, the soft purr from this adorable little pokemon caused him to relax. He gently stroked the little Riolu's fur, and whipsered, "I think I'll call you... Miracle."

Hale was talking with the cameraman when he discovers a huge mistake. I've just brought a girl to work with me and I never even asked her name. he thought. He walks back toward her, "Excuse me, but, I've seemed to lost every brain cell in my head. My name is Hale." he says.

Jubilife was big.
Too big.
"Do you know where we are?"
"Ditt..."
"We're lost, aren't we..."
"Ditto!"
"Crap."
What looked like a very new trainer was fumbling with his map of Sinnoh, an amorphus pink mass sitting on his shoulder. The two looked at the big, unfolded map, and seemed to til their heads in unison. The trainer turned it right side-up, but was still confused by it.
"Ditto?" questioned the blob of a Pokemon. Joseph shook his head, and re-folded the map. They were about as lost as one could be. It didn't help that he only had two Pokemon, one which was completely useless on its own, and another which would never obey his commands and sooner attack trainers than Pokemon. Joseph sighed as he pet Izzy, his Ditto. The Pokemon seemed to purr in enjoyment. It felt like silly putty, rubbery but still like Jell-O.

"Well, Jamie, sorry for the sudden rush of stuff happening. We've been waiting to go for 3 days now and we needed a co-anchor to help out." said Hale. Then he feels something noming on his hat. He smiles and pulls down Nidoran. " Oh, this little devil is Nidoran, though, he goes by Nido."
