The man with dark hair looks at the screens, the ones showing all the people. The people who will be waking up soon. "These are them?" he asks the nearby guard. His voice is electronically filtered, even though he is standing right there.
It must be the mask, the guard thinks to himself, wondering why this man wears a mask in front of his own workers. "Yes, Sir. They are the ones that we have recorded and been able to capture."
The man nods, running his finger along the sharp point of his dagger's hilt. "Once they wake up, give them a minute. They have to be conscious for the room to read them, anyway. After that, take them to separate rooms where the interrogations will begin."
"Yes, Sir... If you don't mind my asking, why do you wear that mask?" he asks.
Silently, the masked man smiles. "Because what is beneath my mask would shock you. The only thing that matters is that we need all the information Kenny Clark may have gained, from anyone he may have come into contact with." My brother needs to be stopped. Even if that means acting like him, for a time, Adam Clark thought to himself.
The guards who were actually assigned to bring the "patients" to other rooms wore masks as well. Frightening golden masks depicting savage faces. Their clothing was black and covered everything. They waited for the interrogatees to wake, rather impatiently.
