It had been 6 months since the meteor fell and spread the virus. Many were left dead, but even more were left undead. Survivors are few and far between. The sun is just beginning to set on the chilled day.

Clora had just finished closing off all the entrances to the warehouse and was preparing her supplies for the hike tomorrow. She had been here long enough and had to keep moving to assure her safety. She climbed up the rope ladder to her sleeping bag, brought the ladder up, and tried to relax and fall asleep.

Vincent quietly snuck between buildings looking for a hide out. He turns a corner and facing him is a Zombie. He jumps back panicked, the Zombie stares at him for a moment then uninterested turns and shuffles away. “That was close.” he thinks relieved sighing, luckily that one didn’t want to fight. Very few Zombies he'd crossed paths with didn't attack. Over the past six months Vincent had grown used to the new way the world was, but not so much to the company. He still wears a uniform of a light blue short sleeved shirt and brown pants, and wears a “Hi my name is: Vincent” name tag and a red tie with emocons on it * emocon = (: XD o.o *. His hair is white and short, and his eyes are a deathly blue white, as he was in fact a Zombie. By a bizarre set of circumstances his mind was not affected by the virus. He became mute soon after contracting the virus, from when a zombie slayer attacked him. Since then he wares dark sunglasses to hide his eyes. He sees a warehouse not to far ahead and decides to investigate. Getting there was easy, now to get in. He tried the door but it was jammed. He looks around until he notices how close the warehouse was to another building. There was a three foot space between the two, so he climbed up to the roof. He looks around the roof until he finds an air vent. “Bingo.” he thinks before pulling the grate off. Being sure to close the grate before continuing, he crawls through the air vent, the vent walls make a distinct clang as he moves. “Hope this doesn’t break.” he thinks as the creaking becomes louder.

Clora shot straight up and grabbed her gun all in one swift motion. She quickly rolled up her bag and put it down with her other stuff. She stood there and waited for the banging to get closer.

Vincent continued along the vent. “Cool, all is well.” He thinks calmly, then a distinct loud crack emits from below him. “Aw Fig Newton...” he thinks panicked. The vent falls from the roof, panicked he jumps out and grabs onto a low pipe, and hangs on for dear unlife. After the loud crash of the vent smashing onto the floor, and the dust settles, he opens his eyes and peers around.

Clora tried to aim for its head in the smoke but she missed by millimeter.

Vincent was trying to see through the dust when he heard a gun go off. It grazed he left ear, causing him to panic and almost fall. He decided to risk it and let go, at least the dust would give him some cover. “Here it goes.” He thinks while dropping. He lands with a thud then quickly runs behind a storage bin. After a while he peers around the corner looking up to where the shot must have come from.

Clora could see the figure drop through the smoke, but it wasn't there anymore. She slowly inched forward with her gun ready to shoot.

He spotted something moving through the smoke. Quickly he looks around and finds a box full of soccer balls. Quickly he grabs one, waits for the smoke to clear, lines it up, and kicks it. The ball flies quickly through the air hitting the person near the head. “Goal.” He thinks joking, then runs behind another box.

Clora was suddenly hit in the shoulder by a soccer ball. This was getting weird, zombies don't have that kind of aim and, in fact, can't even throw anything. "Alright, c'mon out." she yelled.

“It’s a girl?” he thinks a little surprised. Vincent grabs another soccer ball and keeps it under his arm. “Might as well.” He thinks. Slowly he side steps out keeping an eye on the girl, if she tried anything he was close enough to the box to hid again. He waves his free hand to say hello. Then risks it by looking down to write on a notepad he keeps in his front pocket. He writes, “Hey, what up with shooting me?” then folds the note into an airplane and throws it to her expertly.

Clora caught the airplane and read the note. " I thought you were a zombie....why don't' you just come out and talk to me, it'd be easier."

Vincent face palms. “Forgot the mute thing.” He thinks. Quickly he writes, “Because I’m mute.” and folds it into an airplane and throws it to her.

Clora read this note too. "Well then it'd be easier if you came out here and gave me notes rather then throwing me them." she put her gun down at her side but didn't put on the safety, just in case.

(Isn’t she up on a ledge or something? *pokes your first post*)
He writes, “How can I hand them to you when you’re way up there?” then throws the folded paper to her. Cautiously he walks more out into the open, keeping a watchful eye on her. He also keeps the soccer ball at his side.
